Book Review: Steamy on Set
Synopsis: After a devastating heartbreak leaves Farrah Darby questioning her life, she takes a chance on something new to get her life on track. The gleam of a new job, assistant stylist on a movie set, wears off quickly when she bumps heads with the movie's director, Errol Davis. Errol is devastatingly handsome, a talented director and the bane of Farrah’s work life.
With the entire movie on the verge of ending before it begins, Farrah and Errol must learn to put their dislike for one another aside and do what they must to get this movie off the ground. And maybe…their own relationship as well?
Thoughts: Farrah has been through some TRAUMA! Whew! It's the betrayals from those closest that do the most damage, but as Farrah learns, they also come with the biggest lessons. Sometimes shitty things happen and you can’t do anything about it, but sometimes shitty things happen and your life gets the best kind of wake up call ever. From small-time stylist to big-time star, Farrah’s journey is full of laughter, love and tears. Her sharp wit and confidence make her the ultimate MAIN CHARACTER.
Errol worms his way into Farrah’s heart with banter and natural talent. A bi-sexual man with “communal dick” and a soft spot for confident women. Although they have a hell of a rocky start, these enemies to lovers will have you clutching your heart in shock and then awe.
Steamy on Set is a great reminder to follow your dreams, but to also take chances. Just cause it’s not what you thought it would be, life can always surprise you in the best ways.
Quotes:
One of the downsides to being bigger than the men I date is that I never get that baggy feeling from their clothes.
-Farrah
“I love you with everything that I am and all that I will become. I love every part of you down to your stubborn toes. I love you, Farrah.”
-Errol
