Bold and the Beautiful Weekly Recap 6-16

ree

Brooke and Ridge continue having the same conversation. She wants him to come home, but he insists he’s with Taylor now.

Taylor questions Eric about the showstopper scheme and how he feels about Ridge and Brooke — and whether he wants them back together. Eric admits he has a soft spot for Brooke, but before they can go deeper, Ridge walks in and Eric exits. Taylor confesses to Ridge that she asked about his father’s motives. She asks if he misses Brooke. Though it bothers her, Ridge reassures her that he’s committed to her. They kiss.

At the cliff house, Steffy, Hayes, Finn, and Liam prepare to take Hayes to school — which has temporarily moved to the beach house for safety reasons. Liam praises Hayes in front of Steffy and Finn. Unbeknownst to them, Luna is watching. Steffy urges Liam to let the Luna situation go, believing she’s gotten the message. Liam is more cautious, especially given his diagnosis. Luna continues to spy on them, focused particularly on Hayes.

Meanwhile, Brooke is trying on lingerie when she’s surprised by a familiar face — Nick Marone. He’s in L.A. and dropped by to catch up. They talk business and about their son Jack, who didn’t follow in Nick’s shipping footsteps but instead moved to Paris — like his biological mother, Brooke. (Let’s not forget, Brooke didn’t raise this child like her others.) Nick asks how she’s really feeling since Ridge went back to Taylor. Brooke insists she’s fine, and Nick gently comforts her. He reminisces about how some things never change. He sings to her, and they share a kiss.

After pulling away, they talk about their history and what they meant to each other. Nick admits Brooke was his great love and says he wants her back in his life — just as Ridge walks in. Ridge is surprised to see Nick. Nick explains he needed to be in town. The three discuss Jack’s success at Forrester International. Nick congratulates Ridge on reuniting with Taylor and jokes about a possible wedding. Ridge doesn’t take it well. Nick subtly takes jabs at Ridge and Destiny. When Ridge says he and Brooke need to get back to work, Nick leaves — but not before kissing Brooke’s hand.

Brooke defends Nick, calling him a gentleman who genuinely cares for her. She assures Ridge there’s no need to be jealous. Ridge insists Nick isn’t a good man and warns her to stay away.

Taylor and Steffy talk about Liam’s illness and the ongoing fear Luna still poses. They appreciate Electra’s support and reiterate that Luna’s obsession isn’t Finn’s fault — but he still feels guilt. They agree Luna is still a threat — it’s just a matter of when she’ll strike.

Luna manages to approach Hayes while he’s momentarily alone. She gives him a handmade origami figure. When the teacher calls him back, Hayes shows it to her and later to Electra, who picks him up. Luna becomes visibly upset watching this unfold.

Later, Luna approaches Hayes’ teacher again and admits she’s the one who made the origami. They begin talking and together decide it would be a great idea to do an origami project with the entire class. Luna is pleased with herself and the new opportunity. Back at the cliff house, Hayes shows his family the origami. Once he leaves the room, they talk about the continued threats from Sheila and Luna — and the importance of staying vigilant.

At Forrester Creations, Carter, Steffy, and Hope discuss business. Their fragrance line is doing well, and Steffy says they need Daphne to return. This makes Carter uneasy. Steffy believes Daphne will respect boundaries now that Carter is engaged. Hope isn’t so sure.

Later, Carter and Hope talk privately. While she trusts Carter, she doesn’t trust Daphne. Steffy calls Daphne and asks her to return, but Daphne declines — because of Carter. Taylor senses Ridge is distracted. He admits it’s because of Nick. They reflect on the past, and Taylor wonders if Nick and Brooke might reconnect. Ridge says he’ll never like Nick. Brooke tells Katie that Nick is back. She shares what he said — especially that she deserves better than Ridge. They wonder if Ridge is jealous, and Brooke says he needs to treat her better if he wants her back.

Later, Brooke stops by Taylor’s office to drop off papers for Eric. She compliments Taylor, who questions her motives. They discuss Nick’s return, and Taylor sees why he’s come back — it’s his moment. Brooke points out that Ridge seems interested in her again, and maybe it’s because Nick is back in the picture. Taylor hopes Brooke and Nick work out — and Brooke believes she truly does.

Steffy and Ridge meet with Carter to push again for Daphne’s return. Carter understands, wanting to maintain their success, and mentions Hope for the Future. Steffy says they shouldn’t rush back into that. Carter again expresses his concerns about Daphne, but Steffy insists her return wouldn’t be a problem. After Carter leaves, Ridge and Steffy discuss Nick’s return. Steffy asks if Taylor is aware. Ridge says he’s just being protective, but Steffy calls him out on being jealous and how it could affect Taylor.

Elsewhere, Deacon and Hope talk about her engagement. He’s hesitant but agrees to support her. She asks him to walk her down the aisle. Later, Carter arrives, and the men agree to leave the past in the past.
