This week on Beyond The Gates, the Kill Bill story STILL dragged on, the stalker may be someone we have all seen before, and maybe, just maybe, the Kill Bill story finally hit its climax with Friday's cliffhanger. Let's discuss.

They Caught The Capers

Black Widow Plots

Hayley finds Dani's glasses and breaks them. She later tries to apologize to Chelsea and Naomi for kicking them out, but they aren't having it. Hayley also attempts to ramp up her nefarious plot to kill Bill. The thing is, she and Randy are actively plotting a murder in a restaurant bar that the entire town frequents. Could they not have met at Joey's?

She tells Randy to get more poison and not to worry because she will get Bill to St. Barts, and we all know that isn't happening because there is no budget for that. They are hedging on the idea that there won't be an autopsy, but apparently aren't considering the possibility that Bill's family might want to be notified before his body is reduced to ashes. They might even demand a few answers first. Wild concept, I know.

The Dupree Cousins On The Case

Meanwhile, as Hayley plots, so do the Dupree cousins. Hayley is looking rather suspicious, and our resident crime cast guru thinks she may be plotting something dastardly, like murder. The other women think she may be having an affair. Maybe, just maybe, she found a bigger fish to gut for gold.

Dani gets looped in and also thinks Hayley is having an affair. Later, Anita tells her about seeing Hayley with Kyle Abbott.

They eventually figure out that Sammy is indeed Randy, and Dani later tells him that she supports him and Hayley getting it on. Dani. If you only knew.

Bill Needs a Friend

Bill goes to Joey to talk about his health problems and to ask Joey to look after his family if he is not around. Apparently Ted doesn’t exist. Considering the dirty work that Bill put in for Ted, he owes a few emergency conversations. This show never wastes an opportunity to weaken characters in favor of Joey. Later, Hayley puts on an act about being upset about being accused of having an affair. She needs a vacation. Bill and his ego agree to go.

Fatal Attraction

This week we get closer to Andre’s secret. He is receiving mysterious text messages and finally talks to Ted, admitting that he had a situation with someone while he was on the road. Now, it may be coming back to haunt him. Andre tries to find the person and even goes to Smitty for help. Smitty isn't much help, but I cannot shake the feeling that Andre is somehow being pulled into this blood story.

Heather is also back in town, and I put her in this section because it is becoming painfully obvious that she is the person who sent the champagne and has been stalking Andre. Later, Heather runs into Dani and Vanessa at The Uptown, and that is when it really clicks. Heather is entirely too fixated on Dani. Fatal Attraction has entered the building.

Post-Dramatic Stress

Instead of being happy that the surgery worked, Eva chooses to be distraught over a scar and spends the week crying over it. Izaiah lovingly shows her that she is still beautiful and loved, but Eva doesn’t hear him. She rushes to get plastic surgery before her incisions have even healed. Everyone tells her that she has to heal first and suggests that she get therapy, but Eva wants what she wants, and while Leslie soothes her, she is even more delusional. She insists that Ted make it happen. When Ted does not agree, she tells him off, and that she will find another Dr. Unfortunately for her, Carlton has already told Eva no.

Throuple Endings

Carlton is back and wants to know where he stands with Nicole. He is honest that he doesn’t like the way things are. Nicole says she is not ready, but she feels more with Kial; she sees a fresh start with him, someone that she does not have history with. Later she delivers the news to Kial.

Friday Cliffhanger

Caroline worries about Bill. She hasn’t yet put two and two together that Bill did not know about the trip when Hayley told her to clear his calendar. However, after reassuring Caroline that he is fine, his vision blurs as he leaves the office. Caroline finds him unconscious and calls for help.

Final Thoughts on the Week

The cliffhanger worked; I am just disappointed in the story overall and how stupid and ego-maniacal Bill had to look for it to work. I am irked at the preview for Dani next week. She looks unhinged; she always looks unhinged when it comes to Bill, and no one likes it.
