Apple TV is getting delightfully chaotic this spring with the teaser reveal for Margo’s Got Money Troubles, a new eight-episode comedy-drama premiering globally on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. Starring Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, Nicole Kidman, and Nick Offerman, and helmed by multi-Emmy winner David E. Kelley, the series promises a mix of heart, humor, and high-stakes family dysfunction that feels made for binging.

Based on Rufi Thorpe’s bestselling novel, Margo’s Got Money Troubles follows recent college dropout and aspiring writer Margo (Fanning) as she navigates life with a new baby, mounting bills, and a family legacy that’s anything but ordinary. Her mother, a former Hooters waitress (Pfeiffer), and her ex-pro wrestler father (Offerman) complicate matters further, creating a comedic and heartfelt backdrop for Margo’s coming-of-age struggles. Nicole Kidman and a supporting ensemble including Marcia Gay Harden, Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, Rico Nasty, and Lindsey Normington round out a cast that promises both star power and depth.

Produced by A24 for Apple TV, the series showcases Kelley as showrunner, writer, and executive producer alongside Fanning, Dakota Fanning, Brittany Kahan Ward, Kidman, Pfeiffer, and the author Rufi Thorpe, among others. BAFTA and Emmy-winning director Dearbhla Walsh pilots the first episode, with Kate Herron and Alice Seabright directing subsequent episodes. Kelley’s collaboration with Apple TV continues his streak of critically acclaimed storytelling following the Emmy-nominated Presumed Innocent.

The series will debut with three episodes on April 15, 2026, and release new episodes weekly every Wednesday through May 20, 2026. Early glimpses from the teaser highlight a series that balances laugh-out-loud comedy with genuine emotional stakes, tackling the messiness of family, money, and adulthood with warmth and sharp wit.

With a powerhouse creative team, a stellar cast, and Kelley’s signature mix of drama and humor, Margo’s Got Money Troubles looks set to be one of Apple TV’s must-watch spring series.
