2026 Astra TV Awards Winners: The Pitt Dominates as Hacks, Shrinking and Beef Score Big

The votes are in, the trophies have been handed out, and The Pitt may need to clear some additional space on the shelf. The 2026 Astra TV Awards winners were revealed Saturday night, with the HBO Max medical drama emerging as the night's biggest success while Hacks, Shrinking and Beef also walked away with major honors.

Presented by the Hollywood Creative Alliance, the sixth annual Astra TV Awards celebrated television across broadcast, cable and streaming, recognizing everything from dramas and comedies to reality television, animation, documentaries and limited series. After entering the ceremony as the year's most-nominated program with 12 nominations, The Pitt proved all that love wasn't limited to the nomination ballot.

The Pitt claimed Drama Series, while Noah Wyle won Actor in a Drama Series for his performance in the HBO Max hit. Patrick Ball took Supporting Actor, Sepideh Moafi won Supporting Actress and Tal Anderson earned Guest Actress. The show also scored Streaming Drama Ensemble and a directing victory for Wyle for the episode "12:00 P.M."

Sacred Heart isn't the only TV hospital having a big weekend. Over in comedy, Hacks took the top prize for Comedy Series, with Jean Smart continuing her awards run with a win for Actress in a Comedy Series. Hannah Einbinder claimed Supporting Actress, while the HBO Max series also took the directing award.

Shrinking had plenty to celebrate as well. The Apple TV comedy won Streaming Comedy Ensemble, Jason Segel was named Actor in a Comedy Series, Harrison Ford took Supporting Actor and Michael J. Fox won Guest Actor.

The limited-series categories belonged largely to Beef. The Netflix anthology won Limited Series and Cast Ensemble, while Oscar Isaac took Actor in a Limited Series or TV Movie and Charles Melton won Supporting Actor. Beef also picked up the directing prize.

Elsewhere, Keri Russell won Actress in a Drama Series for The Diplomat, Sally Field took Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie for Remarkably Bright Creatures, and Christina Ricci won Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for Wednesday.

The awards also spread the love well beyond scripted drama and comedy. Hazbin Hotel won Animated Series, Witch Hat Atelier took Anime Series, Dancing with the Stars won Reality Competition Series and Baylen Out Loud earned Reality Series.

The 2026 Astra TV Awards ultimately belonged to The Pitt, but the winners reflect just how broad the television landscape has become. Network favorites such as 9-1-1 and Dancing with the Stars shared the winner's circle with streaming heavyweights including Hacks, Shrinking and Beef, while reality, animation and nonfiction programming received their own moments to shine.

With the Emmys still ahead, several of Saturday night's victories could also provide an interesting preview of where the larger awards season is headed. For now, though, The Pitt can enjoy its victory lap. After entering the night as the most-nominated show, the medical drama left little doubt that Astra voters were very much on duty.
