Paramount and Warner Bros. Merger Is Official: Meet the New Skydance
Hollywood officially has a new giant. Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery are now one company after Paramount Skydance completed its massive acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery on Tuesday, October 6. The combined entertainment company will move forward under a familiar but newly expanded name: Skydance. Yes, that means Paramount and Warner Bros., two studios that spent more than a century operating as separate Hollywood institutions, now live under the same corporate roof.
