Link and Jo decided to get married at this nice venue that their patients are no longer using and they also decided to set a date to get married that is quickly approaching. Can I say the quiet part out loud? They really just put these two together because Alex left, I am not feeling an ounce of chemistry between them and they give off brother/sister vibes only. The twin babies are not enough to save them. I didn’t really like Link and Amelia either. I don’t know they both need a reset in my opinion.  Winston and Jules are cooking with grease in the kitchen even though Winston tried to tell Richard that nothing was going on between him and Jules. They bonded over bad fathers and their new patient but when things got a little too heated Winston snapped at Jules and then later got her off his service and sent her Richard’s way. The will they or won’t they may be interesting but I do not want it to last forever and into next season. You started something there, let’s get it.  As I have been saying for weeks on the TV Cave Podcast and in the reviews, Lucas and Simone are being set up for heartbreak and Lucas is upset that Simone never asked him to move in. Simone did try to explain her hesitation, a valid reason. However, it is not looking good for the couple, who I think could be the Derek and Meredith of the show. They are the only actual couple with chemistry right now.  Amelia had a panic attack before performing a risky surgery on a child. She explained she performed a surgery even the great Derek could not do. All seemed well until the end, Dylan was coding and catatonic. Oh my God! Did all that just go down in one episode? Ghosts, Season 4 Episode 21 “Kyle” really brought it, didn’t it? From the laughs to the heartfelt moments to the absolute absurd, it had it all. Let’s get into it.  So Pete is out taking a trip as he can cross the ghost boundary and do all types of fun things that the other ghosts are definitely jealous of when he runs into a man named Kyle that can see him. Naturally he brings him home and everyone is shocked that he has the power as well. What is so funny about the first meetup is that he got his power, not from a coma like Sam but he was on a rollercoaster and got hit in the face by a bird like Fabio. I couldn’t stop laughing at that.  Of course Kyle and Sam are bonding and the ghosts love him because there is someone new to talk to. Jay is super jealous and starts to have doubts especially when his sister, Bela keeps pointing out how hot Kyle is but Jay decides he trusts Sam and lets it go until Sam announces that she has hired Kyle as the hotel assistant and ghost assistant. Kyle will help with doing tasks for the ghosts like turning on the television but Isaac wanted him to do more. Sam tells Isaac he isn’t getting a puppy. All Rights Reserved. “But Kyle will take care of it. He works for us!” I swear Brandon Scott Jones is so funny and underrated. I’m happy I got to tell him in person how he is my favorite. Check out our interview with the cast at New York Comic Con this past October. There was even a throw away line from Isaac saying he was the funny one. Everyone knows.  Bela finds an old article about Kyle while social media stalking and he was arrested for breaking and entering as well as burglary and did time in jail for six months. When confronted Kyle tells the sad story of how he was trying to get a piece of jewelry for a ghost to give to their daughter. The story makes Jay feel small and Sam lashes out at him for not understanding how much it means to her to have someone else around that gets what she is going through.  When she goes to talk to Kyle he misreads and tries to kiss her, she face palms him (the new move now as pointed out by Alberta, a nice follow up to what her and Pete went through last episode ). He apologizes and explains how hard it is for him to meet someone. Sam sympathizes but tells him he has to go. Now, this is where my confusion comes in because why didn’t Sam suggest Bela who would be absolutely ok with his ghost gift? It was right there.  Sam tells Jay about Kyle making a pass at her and the two make up. I appreciated Sam telling Jay how much she appreciates how patient he is when it comes to all the ghost stuff. More romantic moments from Sam and Jay wouldn’t hurt.  Elsewhere, everyone is on pins and needles as it is finally time for Sass to lose his V card to Joan. Basement ghost Nancy (always lovely to see her and the basement ghosts) is even taking bets. Sass gets some advice from Thor about throwing her on the bed but when he tries he sends Joan flying through the side of the house in a hilarious scene. When she finally gets back in the house, she tells Sass to be himself and they kiss but Pete interrupts as he was asleep on the floor. In the last moments, everyone is waiting for Sass to come downstairs and when he does, he confirms he is no longer a virgin in a slow clap, cheering scene.  Our boy finally did it! This episode had everything I wanted and honestly was my favorite of the season. One more to go before the finale but no sweat as we know Ghosts has been renewed for two more seasons!  What did you think? Drop a comment and vote in our poll!

Mid-Wilshire’s pathological liar makes his return in the all new episode of The Rookie , appropriately named The Return .  Seth, after suing the police department for wrongful termination and claiming that his doctor lied about his diagnosis for fraudulent insurance claims, has found his way back into the FTO program.  Now, given how he left things, it’s valid for the officers to not want anything to do with him —he’s quite literally a liability. What I found odd though was how every officer turned their back to him (no, not speaking metaphorically here, they physically stood up and turned around). It was a tad bit dramatic to me.  Nolan is tasked with continuing Seth’s training and he made it perfectly clear that he wouldn’t trust anything he said. Excuses won’t fly this time, so Seth really needs to prove himself. When he failed to call code 4 at a scene, my first thoughts were “how did he get this far in the program?” Then a few moments later, a man who was released early due to a clerical error escaped on his watch. Seth, get it together please — this is meant to be your second chance! One thing I did wonder was how Seth’s lying affected his friendship with Miles since they were in the academy together — got that answer quickly. When Seth tries to talk to Miles in the locker room, things get heated and the two of them start throwing hands. Being the professional liar he is, when Tim asks what was going on, he says he hurt himself on the locker (if he was honest, Miles would’ve been out).  We get a little moment of redemption for Seth when he helps find where the man he lost earlier would be. They get to him, but he’s not with the friendliest of people. A shoot out occurs and when Nolan was close to being shot, Seth calls out to him and is shot himself. Talk about karma - but if I’m being honest, I felt so bad for him. He was shot in the shins and my goodness, that bullet obliterated his leg. There was no saving it and he had to have an amputation below the knee.  I’m not sure where this leaves Seth and his lying ways, but I feel as though we didn’t get to the root cause of why he kept lying. I wish there was more time to see a little bit of Seth’s home life and how he turned to joining the police academy. I hope this isn’t the last we see of Seth, but if it is, he did right in the end. He was finally capable of being honest when he was talking with Tamara. Maybe all he needed was someone to care? Wesley found himself in some trouble when an influencer called him out on a live stream and … yeah that’s all I gathered from that storyline. It felt pointless and we could’ve gone without it. What I did love about this part of the episode though is that we got to see Angela in protective mom mode and it was so  badass!  What are we doing with Tim and Lucy? What am I currently witnessing with them right now? Part of me is excited that Lucy moved forward with what was best for her career and took the Sergeants exam. I wish we got to see more of just how serious she took it this time around (because let’s be real, she was not mentally prepared to take that Detective exam). It would’ve been nice to see Tim help her study (and I do mean help her study, and none of that friends with benefits nonsense they seemingly have going on).  What was that conversation at the end of the episode? No, seriously, they’ve had no real conversation (no that drug induced conversation doesn’t count to me), yet this Sergeants exam, that is meant to be about Lucy growing in this career, turns into the results being about what happens between Tim and Lucy? Why Wild Cards  Fans Are Celebrating and Still Waiting Canadian-American drama Wild Cards  has quickly become a fan favorite thanks to its undeniable chemistry between leads Vanessa Morgan and Giacomo Gianniotti and of course the storytelling. With Season 2 recently wrapped and Season 3 on the horizon in Canada, fans should be thrilled to hear the series has been renewed for two more seasons by its Canadian network. However, U.S. viewers who watch the show via The CW are left wondering: what’s next for Wild Cards  in the U.S.? The announcement of Wild Cards being renewed for two additional seasons by CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) is a strong indicator of the show’s success north of the border. Ratings have been strong in Canada, and the series has received positive reviews. While CBC is ready, set, go, The CW has yet to make an official announcement regarding future seasons. Season 2 of Wild Cards  premiered on The CW in February 2025 and has been relatively successful, though its performance may not have hit the same highs as in Canada. Until The CW makes an announcement, American fans are left in limbo, hoping the renewal north of the border will carry over. The good news? Even if The CW passes, there are still ways U.S. viewers can follow the series. Previous seasons have appeared on Prime Video or if you really love the series, you can purchase episodes. Syfy and USA have revealed the premiere date for Resident Alien Season 4. Dropping on both channels on June 6th at 11pm, based on the Dark Horse comics, Resident Alien tells the story of a crash-landed alien who goes by Harry and his many adventures on Earth. Season 4 will follow Harry and his baby Bridget who are stuck in the Grey Moonbase prison. Not to mention a new shape-shifting alien “Mantid” that is pretending to be Harry back on Earth.   Season 4 promises, “a showdown with the Mantid Alien but soon finds he may not have what he needs to finish the job. Asta and D’arcy struggle to keep a secret from Ben and Kate, who are both desperate to find answers to what has been happening to them. Sheriff Mike and Deputy Liv attempt to solve some mysterious deaths in Patience that Sheriff Mike is beginning to think aren’t caused by anything human,” according to the official synopsis.   The first two episodes will be directed by series star Alan Tudyk. Resident Alien also stars Sara Tomko, Alice Wetterlund, Corey Reynolds, Elizabeth Bowen, Levi Fiehler, Meredith Garretson and Judah Prehn.    Want more news?   Syfy also dropped tea on their other series Revival. Premiering June 12 at 10pm, Revival is a scripted original series based on the Image Comics series from Tim Seely and Mike Norton. Starring stars Melanie Scrofano, Romy Weltman, David James Elliott, and Andy McQueen, the logline reads,” On one miraculous day in rural Wisconsin, the recently deceased suddenly rise from their graves. But this is no zombie story as the “revived” appear and act just like they once were. When local Officer and single mother Dana Cypress is unexpectedly thrown into the center of a brutal murder mystery of her own, she’s left to make sense of the chaos amidst a town gripped by fear and confusion where everyone, alive or undead, is a suspect.”   Episodes will be available on Peacock one week after air. This week on All American Don't Hate the Player, themes of forgiveness, support, and acceptance come into play following the aftermath of Jordan’s attack.  The episode takes place several weeks after Jordan is released from the hospital. Although not seen, we learn that Cassius was indeed a match and gave the blood to save Jordan’s life during surgery. He’s now recovering at home with the help of Layla and Liv (guest star Samantha Logan). Oh how we love having Liv back on the canvas and her growing baby bump with twins!  Feeling betrayed, Layla seeks the truth from Cassius. He explains his father’s obsession with the Baker family and how the whole plan came together. After going back and telling Liv and Jordan, the twins both have different perspectives. Jordan feels like revenge is necessary to protect the family name while Liv sees an opportunity to connect with more family.  Family and betrayal are recurring dilemmas for Khalil as he just can’t catch a break! Finally seeing the Baker’s house as his home, he becomes distant after the attack on Jordan. Last we saw, his dad Marqui was upset after hearing the news of him not wanting to return to South Crenshaw. It’s been inferred that he is the one who caused the attack, hence Khalil’s guilt… and misplaced sense of responsibility.  A responsibility that is surprisingly noticed by Coop. We all know Coop is not my favorite character, however stepped up in recognizing Khalil’s need for revenge. Similar to the journey she went down after Shawn was killed. She caught him skipping school in addition to finding a gun in his book bag . After an alleyway confrontation, Coop stops Khalil from making a fatal decision, however his solution to everything is to just go away. I commend Coop (I know it doesn’t happen often) for her humility towards Khalil. Her know it all demeanor took a back seat to her compassion this week.  Speaking of compassion, Jordan is the one lacking this week. Of course he has a right to feel some type of way after his attack. However, after a conversation with Coach Bobby, we learn he also has to forgive himself for feeling like he’s the one who put Khalil in harm's way and ruined his life. What if he never interfered with Khalil’s home life? What if he never became a role model to him? The questions has caused him not to reach out to Khalil but in this case his quietness is already speaking volumes.  With the organization of Liv the peacemaker, both Cassius and KJ are invited over for family dinner, much to Jordan’s dismay. After promising to hear Cassius out, Jordan does the complete opposite. He sparks conflict with Cassius, causing KJ to defend his dad, and Jordan to pop a stitch, literally. After putting both Cassius and KJ out and his heart to heart with Coach Bobby, Jordan has some thinking to do. Is holding the grudge worth it? How much does he really know what’s best for Khalil? Still having the mindset that everyone is best without him, Khalil attempts to take off and leave LA altogether. However, in true guardian form, Layla has a tracker on his cell phone. She finds him packing up his locker at school and offers him the emotional and maternal support he needs. Layla’s character development over the seasons has been one to watch but this wise version of her is by far the best. He lets Jordan know KJ had nothing to do with the plan and shouldn’t have to miss out on the family experience because of him. Finally showing compassion, Jordan invites KJ to stay for dinner, alone. Cassius leaves, saddened and is seen isolated in his hotel room.  Ready for their heart-to-heart, Khalil and Jordan let go of their internal insecurities. Is there forgiveness for the role they play in each other’s lives or acceptance of the purpose to why they have each other? They give each other a sense of home and support.  Things will continue to come together next week on the season finale of All American! The Wednesday universe just got a little bit bigger. Anthony Michael Hall, the 80s film star known for his roles in The Breakfast Club and Weird Science, is officially joining the cast of Wednesday Season 2. With Netflix’s gothic comedy-horror series becoming a breakout hit thanks to Jenna Ortega’s spellbinding portrayal of Wednesday Addams, the addition of Hall signals is a nice direction for the show's sophomore season. Anthony Michael Hall and Tim Burton of course have worked together before on films like Edward Scissorhands , his return to a Tim Burton project over three decades later brings a sense of a full-circle moment, one that fans of both Burton and Hall are sure to appreciate. Hall’s inclusion adds gravitas to a cast already brimming with talent, including returning stars like Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Luis Guzmán. No news on who or what Hall will be playing but fans are sure to post their predictions. Could he be playing a teacher at Nevermore Academy, a supernatural antagonist, or even a new parental figure in the Addams family world? The possibilities are endless.  Given Hall’s recent choices playing more intense, morally ambiguous characters, we suspect he could bring a darker, more cerebral energy to Wednesday  Season 2. His casting alongside new additions like Steve Buscemi and Billie Piper have us high fiving Thing. Set to premiere in two parts on August 6 and September 3, 2025, Season 2 of Wednesday  is right around the corner. With the first season ending on a cliffhanger fans are eager to see what’s next. According to early reports, the creators aim to delve deeper into the Addams family lore while introducing new characters that shake up Nevermore Academy. Hall's character is expected to be a key player in this new direction, possibly serving as a mentor—or menace—to Wednesday herself. Netflix has handed out more renewals (Where is Castlevania: Nocturne’s renewal Netflix?) and renewed officially the Arctic series North of North  for Season 2 and fans surely are excited. This critically acclaimed Canadian series has quickly become a standout hit thanks to its take on representation of Inuit life. If you're wondering what's next for Siaja and the tight-knit community of Ice Cove, keep it locked in right here.  Why North of North  Became a Netflix Hit North of North , created by Stacey Aglok MacDonald and Alethea Arnaquq-Baril, premiered on April 10, 2025, and immediately drew praise for its authenticity and fresh voice. Viewers are transported to the fictional Arctic town of Ice Cove, and our hero is Siaja (played by Anna Lambe), a young Inuk woman trying to rebuild her life after a messy public breakup. Unlike typical dramas, North of North  gives us a glimpse into life in a remote Northern community. What makes the show particularly special is its honest portrayal of Inuit culture which is something rarely seen on mainstream streaming platforms or network television. Filmed in Iqaluit, Nunavut, the series brings a genuine sense of place and culture. Television needs more of this representation.  Season 2 Renewal: When and Why It Happened Netflix announced on April 29, 2025, that North of North  was officially renewed for a second season. The decision was an easy one for the giant streamer. According to Netflix, the show ranked in the platform’s Top 10 for two weeks after its debut. Impressive.  The renewal is a big win not just for fans but also for Indigenous representation on a global platform. Season 2 should hit Netflix in early 2026. What to Expect in North of North Season 2 No official synopsis for season 2 has been released, we can expect more character development for Siaja. Viewers can also look forward to the return of fan-favorite characters. There’s also buzz that Season 2 will expand its visual storytelling, showcasing more of the Arctic landscape and diving into traditional Inuit practices. Let’s hope that proves to be correct. The culture is a huge part of what makes this series so special and worth watching.  Why North of North  Matters In an age of content overload, North of North  stands out. Audiences crave fresh and original content for sure. It’s a timely reminder (with the box office success of Sinners) of how underrepresented voices, when given a platform, can create stories that feel both local and universally relatable. Tonight’s Will Trent Push Jump Fall starts at the Jack Bose Invitational Rodeo in Georgia. Bernadette Fleury gets on her horse and drunkenly falls off the other side. She later hears her horse, Pancake, making noise, goes into the stall, and shoots. Will is in a new therapist’s office. She has him lie down and tell her where he feels the pain. She is an unusual therapist, but she gets Will to express and recognize his feelings. He is recalcitrant, and she asks him if he wants to be alive. She begins to get through to him and gives him some optimism medication. Eve and Will go to the rodeo stables to investigate the crime scene. Rooster McClatchy’s body is pierced with a pitchfork and nailed to the stable wall. Eve and Will see blood but can’t understand why it is so far from the body. They think it might be Bernadette Fleury’s. She rode off on a stolen horse. The stock contractor, Drummond Montcrief, addresses a crowd and tells them Bernadette Fleury killed Rooster. He offers $100,000 for the return of his stolen horse, Pancake. The people get riled up and angry, then go after her. Will and Eve are worried someone will find and kill her before they can. Now, they have to save her. At the morgue, Angie takes some pills and meets Ormewood. She asks him about his tumor. He is upset because he believes Dr. Seth told her. Angie is carrying a box of her mother’s cremated remains. She asks Ormewood why he hasn’t scheduled his surgery, and he finally admits he is scared. Pete, the medical examiner, comes in and shows them a body. The victim is James Webster. Pete says the autopsy was normal, but it is up to the detectives, Angie and Ormewood, to determine what really happened. Amanda meets with Eve and Will in her office. She tells them they need to find Bernadette. They tell her Rooster had a record of minor offenses, and Will notes he was wearing very expensive boots. Will tries to recreate the crime scene in the GBI hallway. He still can’t understand how the blood got so far from the body. Meanwhile, Eve has someone who can provide a different perspective — a friend of Bernadette. She tells Eve that Bernadette was raped in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, but didn’t report it. The rodeo circuit tried to push her out. Bernadette is seen riding through a field. She is stopped by Shirtless Murph, who is holding a rifle. He wants the reward. She reaches for her lariat on the saddle horn. He is later found tied to a tree, saying she was headed to Lone Oak. Eve, Amanda, and Will look at a map and determine where Bernadette is really headed. They go to find her. Angie and Ormewood interview James Webster’s wife, Danielle, at the police station. She says he was depressed during COVID but was doing better. She doesn’t know anyone who would want to harm him. They are visited by the family’s insurance agent, Tim, who did his own investigation and brings James’s medical records. Later, Ormewood meets Angie at a cafe. She has her mom’s remains with her. Ormewood tells her what he learned from Danielle. They think James may have fallen but still aren’t sure. Josiah and Bon Bon arrive at the restaurant. They are there to help Ormewood get his paperwork and affairs in order before surgery. Eve and Will go to see Mr. Callaway with the sheriff. They see signs a horse had been there, but he claims he hasn’t seen or heard from Bernadette. Will gives him his card before they leave. Before they drive off, Will gets a call. She refuses to come in. Will tells her what he thinks happened, and she explains what really happened, including the source of the other blood marks — Bernadette broke his nose while struggling to escape. Eve tells them about Goodwill Ranch, where Bernadette used to work as a teenager. RAMÓN RODRIGUEZ, MARGARET CHO (Disney/Wilford Harewood) Ormewood tries on his military dress blues, but they are a bit snug. Bon Bon and Angie adjust the uniform so it is not choking him. Bon Bon asks why Angie is carrying the box of remains, and Angie admits she can’t seem to put it down. Josiah walks Ormewood through all the paperwork and gets his affairs in order. He tells Ormewood he believes it is not his time yet. Eve and Will are still searching for Bernadette in the woods. They camp overnight. Will tells Eve about Marco’s brother. She shares her thoughts about God and control. The next morning, they hear a horse and find Bernadette. She shows Will how special horses are, helping him stop fearing them. Bernadette says Pancake may have colic, and Will realizes why — he finds a bag of drugs in Pancake’s manure. Just then, someone shoots and hits Bernadette. Will gets her to safety. Eve has a standoff with Broken Nose. He pulls the trigger; she fires back and kills him. Eve tends to Bernadette while Will takes Pancake to a vet. Angie and Ormewood find security footage showing Tim removing the bird feeder James was trying to hang when he slipped and fell. Tim made it look like a suicide to collect insurance money. They arrest him for tampering with evidence. Ormewood tells Angie he is sorry about her mom and awkwardly asks if she wants to talk. She declines, saying she is going to an AA meeting. Ormewood is relieved and says he will tell his kids about his surgery. Will walks Pancake to the vet. He hugs her and strokes her neck and nose. He takes a couple of drops of optimism and gives some to Pancake. Amanda calls, and Will updates her on Bernadette and Pancake. Meanwhile, Pancake lays down, and Will tries to get her up. He tells her they are choosing to be alive. At home, Ormewood talks to his children. Max says this surgery feels different from the knee surgery. Coop reads off a list of questions from her notebook. He assures them he will be okay. Max says he will bring his dad home after the surgery, and Coop gives her dad a big hug. Angie doesn’t go to her AA meeting but goes to a bar and drinks. In the bathroom, she flushes her mom’s ashes down the toilet, honoring her mother’s wish to be placed in water. Angie runs back into the stall, crying, trying to scrape up some of the ashes. She makes peace with her difficult mother and vows not to let her keep ruining her life. Angie returns to the bar and tries to break up a couple’s fight. They turn on her, and she is left beaten on the floor. RAMÓN RODRIGUEZ (Disney/Wilford Harewood) Will does get Pancake to the vet. He tells Ace that Drummond was smuggling drugs through the rodeo by feeding them to horses. Bernadette asks Will when he will start riding. He doesn’t answer. She calls him a cowboy as he helps her up on Pancake. She rides off to start the rodeo. This was a calming episode that also shared some active history about cowgirls and cowboys in Georgia. Horses are beautiful creatures and seemed to help Will deal with his trauma. Glad to see Ormewood finally stop delaying his life saving surgery and open up to his kids. Liked how his military friends helped him get everything in order. Didn’t like how the show ended with Angie beaten on the bar floor. What happened to her? This was very good.
