The Masked Singer Season 13 Winner Revealed & Rocks the Nation In a showstopping performance, The Masked Singer  Season 13 came to a spectacular close last night. After weeks of performances and speculation, fans finally got the answer as to who would be the next champion. The Masked Singer Season 13 Winner has been revealed! So who won this season? Glad you asked! Gretchen Wilson was revealed to be Pearl. Her emotional performances were a hit with the judges and fans, Gretchen’s unmasking as Pearl was a perfect showstopper to the season.  Pearl Crowned Winner of The Masked Singer Season 13 Gretched aka Pearl delivered emotional renditions of “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree” and “I’ll Stand by You,” wowing both the panel and the audience. When the mask finally came off, the crowd erupted as Grammy Award-winning artist Gretchen Wilson  stepped into the spotlight. Known for her hit “Redneck Woman,” Wilson’s amazing voice and passionate delivery made her a standout from the very first episode. Runner-Ups: Star-Studded Final Four Season 13's final four contestants that kept the audience in suspense were also revealed last night. Boogie Woogie  was revealed as pop-rock star Andy Grammer . Coral, who  came in the third-place spot went to actress and singer Meg Donnelly , who impressed fans with her versatility and stage presence. Finally, Mad Scientist Monster  who came in fourth was none other than country star Brian Kelley  of Florida Georgia Line fame. Each contestant brought their A-game, making Season 13 one of the toughest to predict and most engaging to watch. However, there were clues of Pearl’s identity as Nick Cannon offered some hints referencing “Redneck royalty” and “country roots” to give fans at home the opportunity to guess who was behind the mask. Visual clues like motorcycles, a whiskey glass, and a Grammy trophy as well as voiceovers discussing a rebellious career and overcoming industry stereotypes hinted that Gretchen was back on stage. Some guessed other country icons like Miranda Lambert or Carrie Underwood but Gretchen Wilson’s unique vocal grit eventually gave her away to a few keen fans. Another whiplash of an episode last night for The Rookie ( Mutiny And The Bounty) , but I will  say there were some gems that made it worth the watch.  Skip Tracer Randy (does he still do the skip tracer thing?) made an appearance and let's hope that this is his last. Don’t get me wrong, he’s one of my favorite comedic reliefs on the show, but his storyline didn’t fit in this episode.  Randy visits John and Bailey to ask them to help him get Chastity a gift. Yes, the same Chastity who is dating John’s half brother, Pete. Back when he was filling in as Pete for John’s wedding, he caught feelings for Chastity and wanted to win her over. When John and Bailey tell him that they will help him after work, he offers to pay them to be late. Turns out Randy is a bitcoin billionaire now (super random, but okay).  Throughout the episode, we keep seeing him use this money in the most egregious ways: buying gifts for Chastity and her work friends, a new car; you know, all the ways to get the wrong kind of attention. In his attempt to attract Chastity to him, he made her a target for a trio of men trying to get money from him. They kidnap her in hopes of getting a big pay out.  Randy asks for help from the officers, but does the opposite of the advice they give him, making matters worse. In the end, Chastity ends up saving herself when the men become distracted while making plans to extort Randy out of more money. This was a nice break from the other storylines this episode, however, it still felt out of place for me.  One thing I can’t stand is people who take advantage of the elderly. We finally meet Nyla’s mother this episode, and I wish it were for something more light hearted. She called Nyla when she thought that someone was trying to break into her house, but it turned out to be an officer serving an eviction notice. Everyone was confused because she owned the home, but then we come to find out she was scammed. A scammer got Mrs. Harper to sign away the ownership of her home under the guise of keeping it in a trust. She didn’t seem to be too upset at this, but Nyla didn’t like how friendly her mother was and her frustration caused her to blow up at her a bit.  One thing I didn’t know (and clearly neither did their daughters) was that Mrs. Harper was friends with Mrs. Lopez (Angela’s mom). She rushed over when she got a panic call from her friend and didn’t even hesitate when she was asked to help catch the scammer. I wish we got more scenes with them, because they were hilarious! This is also very common in the elderly community, I wish they would’ve highlighted it a lot more.  MARGARET AVERY, ALYSSA DIAZ (Disney/Mike Taing) Del Monte had a scare this episode as well when a gang member that he was pressing charges against threatened to ruin his son's life. Wesley was handling the case, but when he was confronted in the parking lot to drop the case, it was like the Elijah situation all over again. Del Monte’s son was caught on video buying drugs and if this video made its way around, any chance at a future for him would be ruined.  Wesley suggests getting ahead of it by admitting his son to rehab, but Del Monte thinks this would also ruin his son’s life. This was another storyline that I think should’ve been highlighted because seeing how disconnected Del Monte was to his son resonates with so many family members that work high demanding jobs. It’s so easy to miss the signs that your child needs help and for the most part, it’s usually too late. Luckily, Del Monte was able to get his son the help he needed. When the gang members caught wind of what Del Monte was doing, they attacked him and his son, which only helped strengthen their case against the gang (idiots). I’m glad that was settled, but it went too fast for me.  Throughout the episode, Lucy’s anxiety was through the roof waiting for the Sergeants exam results. When the scores were delayed, she still found herself overthinking how well she did (or how she might’ve failed). I was rooting so hard for Lucy in this episode – she has worked so hard for years and has never been rewarded for it in any meaningful way. She deserved a win.  The results are finally in and she’s too scared to check so she has Tim look for her. He does and when he tells her to take a look we finally have that moment we’ve been waiting for: LUCY PASSED! She’s been promoted to Sergeant. And she doesn’t have to wait too long; Grey tells her there is an open Sergeant position opened at Mid Wilshire, but get this: it’s on the night shift. What does this mean for Tim and Lucy now? As previously reported, CBS has started a Blue Bloods universe with the spinoff Boston Blue (release date unknown at this time). Donnie Wahlberg will continue his role as Detective Danny Reagan as his moves to Boston to continue being a boy in blue. Joining him as a new series lead is Sonequa Martin-Green. The two stars made the news official at a CBS press event unveiling the 2025-26 network schedule, and the chemistry between them was undeniable. A Bold New Chapter for Danny Reagan In Boston Blue , Danny Reagan makes a pivotal career move, leaving behind his New York City roots and his iconic Reagan family to join the Boston Police Department. It’s definitely a change the hardened New York detective, who will have to adjust not only to a new city but also to a new partner, Detective Lena Silver, played by Martin-Green. "Danny does not like Boston very much, as we’ll discover," Wahlberg quipped during the announcement. "He’s a New Yorker, he’s a Mets fan and a Jets fan…" That built-in tension and back-and-forth banter between the two characters will be interesting to see. Sonequa Martin-Green Brings Strength and Sophistication to Detective Lena Silver Sonequa Martin-Green, is a star in her own right. We loved her in Star Trek: Discovery  and The Walking Dead , as she steps into the role of Detective Lena Silver, the eldest daughter of a prestigious Boston law enforcement family, we are on pins and needles waiting for first looks. “You’re going to have a lot of fun poking fun at me,” Martin-Green joked to Wahlberg at the press event. “And I’m going to have to get a really good Boston accent just so I can like throw it out at times!” Her addition to the cast signals a strong black female lead presence and opens the door to exploring the legacy of a new law enforcement family, the Silvers. Familiar Roots with New Faces While Boston Blue  breaks new ground, Wahlberg was quick to reassure loyal fans of the original series. “Danny’s story will continue the Reagan family’s,” he confirmed. “You can’t have Danny without Reagans.” Though set in a new city, Boston Blue  will maintain “connective tissue” to the original Blue Bloods , promising appearances or mentions of fan-favorite characters, and perhaps even crossovers. “We are really working on this universe in a way that I think the Blue Bloods  viewers are going to be very happy,” Wahlberg said. Production Begins This Summer Boston Blue  is slated to begin filming in late summer 2025, with an official release date yet to be announced. Anticipation is high, and with a powerhouse cast and rich narrative potential, CBS appears poised to deliver another hit. If you were hoping to see more of the ocean-rescue action from Rescue: HI-Surf , well that’s just too darn bad. FOX has officially cancelled the freshman drama after just one season, despite early buzz and a promising premise. So, what caused the network to pull the plug? Admittedly, I only screened the pilot episode was out immediately. I was hoping for the camp of Baywatch with the intensity of the 9-1-1 rescues and got nothing like that. FOX invested heavily in marketing the series as its next big procedural, even initially planning to air a special episode following Super Bowl LIX in February 2025. Expectations were high but the show ultimately struggled to make waves. So, what was the problem here? According to our critics here at The TV Cave that did grin and bear it, the cast was pretty to look at and the acting was passable but it just never could hit the mark. Ratings Reality: Why FOX Pulled the Plug Despite the money FOX poured into its new series while offering great production quality and a diverse cast native to the Island, Rescue: HI-Surf  failed to capture the breakout audience FOX hoped for and was just mid. Rating will do it every time. The show wrapped its first season weeks ago, but declining weekly ratings was an early sign that there was trouble in the water. FOX opted to replace the coveted post-Super Bowl time slot with The Floor  Season 3, citing stronger performance among younger viewers and families. While Rescue: HI-Surf did perform decently on Hulu, streaming success alone wasn’t enough to justify a renewal. We’re going to need a better script. Rescue: HI-Surf  had all the ingredients of a hit: a picturesque setting, adrenaline-fueled action, and a capable creative team. According to Apple, the new season picks up after the events of Season 3, where older Máximo returns to a transformed Las Colinas, while younger Máximo deals with the consequences of ambition and sacrifice. Will Trent Season 3 Episode 17 Why Hello, Sheriff opens in a lab where a technician is measuring tubes of a solution. He pours one test tube of the solution over a sandwich. He later takes it and gives it to a homeless man on the street.  Angie is in the hospital. Dr. Seth McDale comes to check on her. She tells him she's been drinking. He asks what happened, and she tells him her mom died. Angie is not fine with falling off the wagon. Seth tells Angie she's pregnant. She asks if he's sure, and he confirms it. Seth tells her he loves her and will do whatever she wants. He has to return to the OR. Angie is stunned. At Will's home, Nico and Faith talk about a text Nico is mulling over sending to a potential girlfriend. Faith looks at her phone and sees three previously sent unanswered texts. Will enters, interrupting them. He's been out running. Amanda comes out of the kitchen and asks what he's been doing to his wall. He says he's fixing it. It's a process. He asks why everyone‘s in his home. Amanda's there to tell them about a double homicide in Bradford County. She's sending him and Faith to investigate. One of the victims is a deputy sheriff killed in her own home. The Bradford Sheriff is Caleb Roussard. He doesn't think the state can enforce laws that he thinks are unconstitutional. He thinks he's the King of The County. Amanda tells them they won't welcome the GBI Investigators. She tells them not to expect any help from him. Amanda tells them to leave now because the sheriff and his deputies are already investigating the crime scene. She doesn't want any evidence tampering and crime scene contamination done. They get to Bradford County quickly and meet Sheriff Roussard. He’s not happy to see them, and ignores them. Ormewood goes to the VA to get his scan done before his pre-op work up. The nurse at the hospital tells him to get his blood work done first. He has to wait in another line so he asks Nico to hold his place in line. He tells her to call him when she’s two spots out. They enter the dead deputy’s house. Deputy Kenny Hall is inside. The two victims, Deputy Joanna Lundgren on the floor. He updates them on the victims. Will notices an intentional burn on Levi's torso, and asks Faith if it looks like a brand. Kenny doesn't know much about Deputy Lundgren’s personal life. They don't have any suspects, yet. Kenny walks them through his theory of what happened. Will tells them it was a cool theory, but it's not what happened. He and Faith explain their theory. He says the killer came to kill Levi, the other victim. The sheriff doesn't like Will shining his pointer everywhere. Suddenly a black cat, Jelly Bean, runs out chasing the pointer’s light. He's contaminating the crime scene. Jelly Bean runs out the open door, and Will pulls the door shut, breaking the window.  Will and Faith call to tell Amanda what happened. She's not happy to hear they contaminated the crime scene and bled over some of the area. She regrets sending them. Will asks her to get back to the case and look at the photos he sent. Amanda will search the database for the brand. Faith asks her to also check Levi's gym card. Will tells her the sheriff left the crime scene without a word.  Faith and Will question the bartender. She could only tell them Deputy Lundgren and Levi were just a hookup. She noticed a guy come into the bar after Levi. He sat at the end of the bar and kept watching him. He left after Joanna and Levi left. His name is Korda and teaches at the middle school.  Will and Faith get to the middle school and find the sheriff already there talking to Vince Korda. Sheriff Roussard said he recognized the gun, and came to ask Vince about it. The gun was a gift he helped pick out for Vince's son, Beau. Beau was a troublemaker. The sheriff tells Vince to let him know if he sees Beau, and he’ll take care of it. Will and Faith objected, but the sheriff says that’s how it’s done there. Angie and Ormewood go to Levi’s  gym and cut the lock off his locker. They find a backpack with a possible hit list, and a manifesto for the Founders Front. Angie thinks the victim was a domestic terrorist.  In the park, the homeless guy that ate the sandwich is coughing uncontrollably.  Will and Faith return to the GBI. Will stops at the police station to see Angie. She tells him her Mom died. She says she still loves her terrible Mom. Faith and Will give Amanda the specifics on the double murder case. The burn is a brand that the terrorist members get. They have a record on Tobias Kolich. He was arrested for attempting to blow up a bridge, and is part of the terrorist group. Angie updates everyone on the group’s purpose according to their manifesto.  Pete comes into the conference room with crime scene evidence information. They isolated the killer’s DNA and found a match for Beau Korda. Pete asks to speak to Amanda privately, but she tells him to speak there for everyone to hear. He tells her he needs to speak with her alone because the matter is sensitive. They go to Amanda’s office. Angie, Faith and Will continue discussing the case while Ormewood spies on Amanda and Pete. Faith gets a call and leaves.  Nico calls Ormewood to tell him to get to the VA, because his number is almost next in the queue. In the waiting room, Nico helps the sick homeless person, Roy. She introduces herself and Betty.  Pete and Amanda give Will some personal information. Sheriff Roussard is Will’s Father. Will denies it, and goes into shock. Amanda tells him the sheriff will find out soon. Will thanks her for telling him, and leaves. Ormewood gets to the VA but Gloria, the receptionist, tells him they are closed and asks him to return tomorrow. Roy is coughing again in the waiting room. Nico goes to check on him. Ormewood rushes Roy to the hospital ER where Dr. McDale works. McDale asks what his symptoms are.  He tells Ormewood to make sure he washes his hands, because Roy could have something contagious. Will is at home working on repairing his wall. There's a knock at his door, and it's Sheriff Roussard. He came to talk with Will. They are just alike;  both detail oriented. They work together to fix his wall. Will tells him he doesn't know him, and he didn't raise him. Sheriff Roussard said he didn't know Will existed. Amanda told him Will never knew his Mother. Will says he doesn't want anything from him. At that moment, Will gets a call from Faith about Beau. Will and Sheriff Roussard meet Faith at Beau Korda’s apartment. Beau is passed out inside, and there's a fire inside. Will and Roussard break in and carry Beau out. Roussard administers CPR, but Beau’s dead.  Angie is in the bathroom throwing up. She talks out loud to her Mom, and says she's scared. She exits the stall, and Faith asks who she's talking to. Faith tells Angie she's there for her. Amanda talks to Sheriff Roussard, and tells him Vince will be there for Beau. She talks to Roussard about Wilbur Trent. She says he's a very special man, and that he had no one there to protect him as a child, but now she looks out for him. She tells him to remember that.  The next day, Ormewood comes into the conference room to give everyone information on Beau. He didn't have any tattoos or brands. He's not part of the Founders Front. Ormewood shows them the lab results on Beau's body and they find he was restrained, dosed with heroin, and a fire was set. It would have been ruled an accidental death. They rapid fire all the facts and piece together the case. Review of a purchase order lists lab tools and products. Faith says it sounds like they were making bioweapons. Will adds they were also planning an attack, and Levi was killed because he was going to expose them. Ormewood goes to check on Seth for Angie. He finds him and tells him about the released bioweapon. Seth says there's been more victims, but can't find the cause of their illness. Now he’ll contact their toxicology people. Ormewood quickly checks on Roy, and finds Nico there. Roy’s not doing well. Faith tells Will who purchased the lab equipment, Vince Korda. Will enters the interrogation room, and interrupts Vince and Sheriff Roussard. Vince created the bioweapon, and killed his own son. Sheriff Roussard could not believe it. Meanwhile, Roy is dying in the hospital. Vince says it's not over, it's just begun. The hospital goes into lockdown. Nico and Ormewood can't leave. This episode was intensely good!  Ormewood’s troubles getting seen at the VA. Surprising, life-changing happenings for both Angie and Will. Add to that a bioweapon released and infecting the homeless population in Atlanta, as a terrorist group begins its world takeover. Find out what happens next week, in the season finale. This week on the season finale of All American, Beverly and South Crenshaw suit up for the rivalry football game, leaving us with quite the cliffhanger!  Preparing to face each other head on, both Cassius and Jordan condition their minds and bodies off the field. With this being Jordan’s first day back since his accident, he feels he has something to prove while Cassius battles through the guilt from recent fallouts.  Amina is back this week and with good news! She’s been accepted into the Dinsberg Boarding school! We notice excitement and encouragement from KJ, but of course Khalil initially thinks about him and questions where that leaves things with them. There’s been a shift in Amina this season as she explores what she wants and prioritizes herself over being the fixer in the friend group.  In the midst of supporting Amina, KJ awaits news of being the Division Player of the Year along with Cassius being nominated for the Division Coach of the Year. However, to KJ’s disappointment, he loses while Cassius wins. Already feeling the distance from the fallout, KJ’s parents seek out Tori in an attempt to get into his head. Tori’s perspective of not being a safe space for KJ was further explored after he publicly lashed out at her during school. It’s been noted in previous episodes how the emotional bond between KJ and Amina continues to grow the more they provide each other with support and reassurance. Yet, are they reserving that vulnerability only for each other?  On the other side of town, Amina contemplates just that. Reflecting on her personal growth with Layla, she realizes her feelings for Khalil began to fade once she saw the respect and attention she received from KJ. It’s clearly a tale of If he wanted to, he would ! The difference is, how much grace is/was Khalil given? In the midst of his personal drama, he hasn’t been someone that Amina could lean on during her life obstacles and she notices. All Rights Reserved. The talk with Amina sparks motivation in Layla as it relates to her further investment in her record label. Her time has been split between the label, her lounge, and balancing the new family dynamic with Jordan. She ultimately decides to go on tour with Elle for 6 months, and dedicate time back into her individualism, with Jordan’s support of course.  After having a conversation with Jordan, Cassius meets up with Ava at his hotel, after her conversation with Layla. They both fight for the other couple to see the good in Cassius as well as KJ who is struggling with his news of losing the award. Prideful, Jordan dismisses Cassius after his plea for helping KJ. But the act lands him in the arms of Ava. Their reconnection is one of familiarity that will hopefully aid in their road back to each other.  On the field, KJ is unable to shake the events of the day while Khalil, starting for the first time as QB 1, play their worst games of the season. Khalil’s mind was focused on him losing Amina and it really wasn’t helpful to have his dad on the sidelines talking about his playing and Jordan’s coaching. All Rights Reserved. Shocking the team and the stands, there’s an electrical problem resulting in all the lights going off on the field. Jordan uses the time to give a pep talk to his baby cousin. He helped KJ push through his resentment of his father and prioritize the game in front of him. KJ was also able to see how much of a rider Tori really is for him and challenged himself to be vulnerable with her. He made the decision and asked her to be his girlfriend. There are definitely thoughts as to how long this will last. Of course there is belief of KJ and Amina being endgame however, maybe there are more lessons to leave before they find their way to each other.  Seeing Jordan’s compassion towards his son, Cassius challenges Jordan to a bet. If Beverly wins, Jordan must join Cassius for a cup of coffee. Both KJ and Khalil returned to the field recharged and ready to win after blackout revelations. But who was the winner of the town rivalry game? Will Jordan ever give Cassius a second chance? How will Amina adjust to her new school? I guess we have to tune in to the next season of All American to find out!!

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit has been around forever, the show is old as hell and has seen its doors welcome and kick out many characters whether they are detectives or attorneys. The shake-ups on this show never seem to end but fans cannot get enough of the memorable characters and gripping storylines.  On the chopping block this time are fairly new cast members Juliana Aidén Martinez and Octavio Pisano who will be leaving Law & Order: SVU  after Season 26 and fans are left wondering what the future holds. Their exits mark a significant shift in the dynamic of the beloved series and here’s everything you need to know. Why Juliana Martinez and Octavio Pisano Are Leaving Law & Order: SVU Juliana Martinez, who joined SVU  in Season 26 as Detective Kate Silva, quickly became a fan favorite. With a strong backstory and chemistry with the squad — especially Detective Joe Velasco — her addition brought new blood to the team. Octavio Pisano, on the other hand, has portrayed Velasco since Season 23 and became a key player in the series. LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT -- "Shock Collar" Episode 26018 -- Pictured: Juliana Aidén Martinez as Det. Kate Silva -- (Photo by: Virginia Sherwood/NBC) Both departures come as Season 26 wraps up, with neither actor expected to return for the yet-to-be-confirmed Season 27. While NBC has not released official reasons, we tried to find out, believe us, one can only guess as to the reason. We hear that NBC is doing budget cuts, so that very well may be the reason (looking at you Chicago Fire).  What This Means for the Future of SVU Should budget cuts and not “creative choices” (now I’m looking at you 9-1-1), there could be a strong chance that new characters may not be introduced to the well established crime fighting team. Also, not sure if new characters are warranted as Pisano’s Velasco, a character with a troubled past and complex motivations, offered nuanced performances that resonated with viewers. Martinez’s Silva brought a fresh perspective, tackling modern challenges in law enforcement. Why get rid of such interesting characters, to bring in new ones and now we have to get used to a new dynamic all over again. On the other hand, there is an argument for fresh faces mean fresh stories for a series that has been on for as long as I can remember.  LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT -- "Shock Collar" Episode 26018 -- Pictured: Octavio Pisano as Det. Long-time fans expressed sadness over losing two strong characters, while others remain optimistic about where SVU  might head next. NBC has not officially renewed SVU  for Season 27, but we are pretty confident here at The TV Cave that a renewal is a lock.
