  • School Spirits Renewed for Season 3 at Paramount+

Get in the spirit! Fans of School Spirits have much to cheer about as Paramount+ announced the show is coming back for a season three! School Spirits , which originally premiered in 2023, follows the story of Maddie (Peyton List), a high school senior who finds herself stuck in the afterlife after an untimely death. As she adjusts to being dead, Maddie teams up with other lost souls to uncover the mystery surrounding her own death. The mix of supernatural and teen drama has made it a hit for the Eye network. Fans have compared the show to Veronica Mars  and The Ghost Whisperer . Season 2 of School Spirits  ended with more questions than answers, so its great news that the story gets to continue. While specific details about the plot of Season 3 have not been released, we expect the new season to pick up where season two ended. Hopefully at least some major questions get answered in that premiere. What makes School Spirits  so convincing is its ability to effortlessly blend drama, mystery, and supernatural themes. The show has reaped praise for its sharp characters and emotional depth, especially as it tackles the complications of grief, loss, and the desire for justice. Peyton List has certainly come a long way since her Disney Channel days. Her performance has been described as both relatable and heartfelt. The renewal of School Spirits  for a third season is exciting, but fans will have to wait a little longer to see the next chapter. Season 3 is expected to air in 2026, which means there’s plenty of time for fans to rewatch the first two seasons, which of course you can do so by streaming the hit show on Paramount+. For more updates on School Spirits  keep it locked right here at Je-Ree Reviews Media where we cover School Spirits and all your favorite shows!

It is not the medication she was prescribed. They believe Gavin was drugging Tasha for her money. He realized Whitney suspected him, and panicked, then killed her. Amanda tells them to bring him in.Ormewood helps Max rehearse for his play tryout as Romeo in the sandwich shop. Angie and Cooper giggle as they watch. Ormewood is proud of his son and tells him he’s going to crush it. Cooper is looking out the window and sees the irate customer from the footage. Ormewood tells his kids to stay in their seats, as he and Angie chase the suspect. He slams the suspect to the ground right in front of the kids. They got the killer. Faith and Will go to see Gavin Overton about Whitney McAdams’ murder. Gavin runs. He runs into the street and is killed. They later searched his house and found evidence for the murder. He killed Whitney to keep the truth quiet. Whitney was protecting Tasha. Tasha has an aunt who will be her guardian. Amanda thanks them for giving Whitney’s family answers for her death. Whitney appears to Will again at his house. Will reviews the clues he and Faith found, and knows he’s still not completely done with Whitney’s case. Marion comes into the room dressed to go out on their date. Marion triggers his memory with the word “cold”. He keeps repeating it and rushes out bringing Marion with him. They have to stop by Whitney’s house and check her room. It’s still freezing. Will checks the heater vent and finds a box of documents and a cell. The cell has a video of Gavin and the killer. Will tells Marion they’re not making their reservations. Later that night, Ormewood sits at home with Cooper watching a nature documentary. She suddenly asks him if the guy he caught is the murderer. He tells her yes. He explains to her why the guy murdered someone over a sandwich, but she doesn’t understand.Faith comes into the family room looking gorgeous in a yellow gown.  She opens her Amazon Prime package. It contains a beautiful evening bag. Max comes home. Everyone asks how he did at the tryouts. He didn’t get the Romeo part, but did get Mercutio. They Cheer and he grins with pride! Faith tells him she’s proud of him, and leaves for the cotillion. At the cotillion, the formal dance begins and all the young couples are dressed beautifully. The dance is wonderful. Faith and Elijah look on with pride. Will suddenly shows up. Faith asks what’s happening, and he tells her to go along with him. They go to Ms. Potts’ table. Will tells her not to make a scene, and he knows she was sleeping with Gavin. Will keeps walking through the possible steps that led to Whitney’s murder. Ms. Potts said Whitney was a monster. They arrest Ms. Potts. Later, Elijah and Faith dance. Faith is having fun. Will stands on the sidelines watching. Whitney appears next to him and thanks Will for finding her killer. He tells her it was his honor and pleasure. Whitney tells him to tell Faith his secret about Jeremy. She also tells him she lied about there not being any dogs in Heaven. He tells her to rest in peace. Will returns home to Marion and apologizes for their cancelled dinner. He and Betty bring her birthday pancakes with a candle on top. She tells him she got her divorce for her birthday.  He asks her if she’s okay, and she is, too. They both are happy.  Marion says she doesn’t have to make a wish and gives Will a passionate Kiss. Betty looks on. This Will Trent episode was Very Good! The whole ghost helping the police find her murderer was well done. It was cute and funny to see Whitney only appear to Will. They had a real comedic connection. Faith being gorgeous was Super. It was also great seeing Ormewood’s Dad role on full display. He’s Great at it. Betty was being cute, as usual. Really liked the two plots that this time didn’t intertwine. Both were truly interesting and kept introducing new clues. It was Great following those clues along. Loved the history of Black Society, too.

  • 'Doc' Season 1 Episode 10 "...Must Come Down" Review

I love it when shows get clever and the episode titles match. Last week’s title was “What Goes Up” and the season finale’s title of Doc “Must Come Down” was very appropriate. These are some clever writers. This is how you do a season finale. I want more episodes as soon as possible. A man (Gina’s patient) commits suicide by stopping his car on the train tracks. He caused an entire train derailment which now causes the hospital to get overwhelmed with victims. Because of the hospital being so busy, Michael forgets his iPad in the car and his wife reads text messages from Amy causing her to confront him. I did not think this was all going down immediately. Michael confesses to kissing her and she leaves saying they will talk about it later. She later runs into Amy and rips into her about it (Sonya sees). Why blame the other woman, she should have kept that energy for her husband. TJ’s father starts to recover, meaning Amy was correct in her diagnosis. TJ later apologizes to Amy for treating her harshly and she immediately forgives him. Meanwhile, the stress of everything is weighing on Amy and she snaps at Sonya, setting back their relationship after healing it. I was rooting for them to remain friends. It is unclear if they can patch things up by the end of the episode. Amy does have an honest conversation with her daughter who is worried that Amy is reverting to her old ways. It feels like every time she fixes one relationship, another one suffers. Her daughter gives her some sound advice which leads to Amy visiting Mrs. Dixon. After their conversation, she realizes Richard lied and the nurse confirms it. Richard finally confesses the truth to Amy, Michael and the President of the hospital board. He will have to face a medical review and most likely a suspension of his medical license. The flashback to seeing what really happened that day was a nice touch. Amy also stood up for herself with the board and told him exactly what was going to happen. Later, Jake catches Amy and Michael kissing! I felt so bad for him. This is the second time they have cheated, so my love and hope for Amy and Jake are out the window. She does not deserve him. This final was great! So many resolved issues but so many unanswered questions. Gina got some time to shine but it is a shame it took to the last episode of the season. Amy was not there for her so now their relationship is strained. Will Sonya finally get her crush Jake? What about Michael and Amy, will they get back together? Is Richard done for? We have to wait until next season. What did you think? Drop a comment and vote in our poll!

  • 'Sex Lives of College Girls' Axed at Max

Max has declared school is out for summer and no one has to return. The Sex Lives of College Girls has been canceled by the big blue streamer after three seasons. According to reports the showrunners are shopping around for a new home like Netflix but it is not looking good.     In the season finale one of the biggest surprises comes with Bela’s character arc. After dealing with the fallout of her breakup with Arvind, Bela reconnects with her love for comedy and performing. While she navigates the ups and downs of her love life, she found herself drawn to Hailey, who shares her quirky energy. Their chemistry is undeniable, and the two share a kiss at a frat party, marking a huge moment for Bela as she begins to embrace her queerness. The season finale closes on a heartfelt note as the friends come together to celebrate their victories and support each other. Bela’s mom, proud of her daughter’s journey, shares a tender moment with Bela at the end of the episode.   We covered the entire third season, now the final if you need a refresher on what happened. We here at Je-Ree Revies Media thought more stories were on the horizon but it looks like our dreams were squashed.   The series was created by Mindy K aling and Justin Noble served as showrunner. The series, a comedy, followed Essex College students and roommates Kimberly (Pauline Chalamet), Whitney (Alyah Chanelle Scott) and Bela (Amrit Kaur) as they juggled school, friendships and relationships.   What do you think of the news? • “Happy Gilmore 2” Trailer Drops: Adam Sandler Returns to the Golf Course for a New Adventure

This July, return to the green with Happy Gilmore 2.   Fans of the 1996 comedy classic Happy Gilmore  have been eagerly awaiting news of a sequel since being announced, and it’s finally here. Happy Gilmore 2 , starring Adam Sandler, is set to hit Netflix on July 25, 2025. Along with the release date announcement, Netflix released the trailer for Happy Gilmore 2  which features Adam Sandler once again slipping back onto the golf course. His character remains the ill-temper, crazy and hysterical golfer who took the sports world by storm with his unusual approach to the(boring) game. This time, however, Happy is facing a new set of issues. Joining Sandler in the sequel are returning friends from the first movie. Julie Bowen returns as Virginia Venit, Happy’s love interest from the original film, while Christopher McDonald reprises his role as the annoying Shooter McGavin. Happy Gilmore 2  also introduces some new characters. Bad Bunny, the chart-topping musician has joined the cast, though his role remains a secret. Professional golfers Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas, both of whom will appear as themselves in the movie, join the cast. Ben Stiller, joins the sequel, so you know the laughs will be plenty. Directed by Kyle Newacheck, Happy Gilmore 2  brings a fresh look to a classic. The trailer ends with a shot of Happy back on the course, still as bold and outrageous as ever, with a line right on character, that suggests he’s not done making a name for himself in the world of golf. To be honest, this writer has never seen Happy Gilmore. I am not a sports fan, and golf is definitely the last sport on my list to sit and watch, so I never had a desire to watch the film. I hear it is comedy gold however. Adam Sandler has his own brand of comedy and I am sure his fans are stoked for this sequel. In my opinion, Hollywood needs some different material. For now, all we can do is enjoy the trailer and wait for the film’s arrival on Netflix later this year. If it’s anything like the original, Happy Gilmore 2 is bound to be another classic in the making—one that will have us all “driving” to the nearest couch with a remote in hand.

  • 'Snowfall' Spinoff Ordered at FX

Snowfall is making a return to FX. The network has ordered a pilot of a brand new spinoff series with  Gail Bean return in the role of Wanda Bell-Simmons, with Isaiah John also reprising his role as Leon Simmons . Variety reported the news first.   This spinoff series has been in development for a few years now, so surely this news will be welcomed by many fans. The official synopsis logline reads, " Set in 90s Los Angeles soon after the end of the original series, a recovering addict (Bean) strives to take West Coast rap mainstream despite potential infighting from a harrowing gang war." No further cast announcements have been made for the series. We also do not have a title (as of the yet).   Fans will recall that the characters of Wanda and Leon got married in season six of the original series. Wanda was one of the more interesting characters so to see her get the guy delighted fans. She had an interesting run throughout the series, since first showing up in season two. She had to deal with being homeless, working with some not so nice guys and gang wars.   The series (which aired for six seasons in total) followed a black family in Los Angeles during the rise of the crack epidemic. Side stories included the police and law enforcement attempting to combat the drug related crimes. The new series will most likely following the gang involvements and of course focus on Wanda and Leon.   Although we do not have the cast announcements or a title, we do know that Malcolm Spellman will write and executive produce the pilot episode.  Returning are Dave Andron, Thomas Schlamme, Julie DeJoie, Michael London and Trevor Engelson as executive producers. The original  Snowfall  series ran from 2017 to 2023 on FX and starred Damson Idris, Emily Rios and Carter Hudson.

  • Doctor Odyssey, 9-1-1 Crossover Event Finds Athena Back on the Water

New stills have been released for the highly anticipated 9-1-1 and Doctor Odyssey crossover that fans probably saw coming. The episode is titled “Casino Week” and the official synopsis for the episode reads: “It’s Casino Week aboard The Odyssey, and unexpected guest Athena Grant suspects two passengers are targeting the ship’s vault. Enlisting Max’s help, Athena raises the stakes in a dangerous game where not everyone will end up with a winning hand.” Even with a robbery or an attempted robbery, logically in my mind at least, that would not be enough to get Athena back on a cruise ship. Wouldn’t Bobby also have his reservations about her going to do this? Do police sergeants often do this much undercover work? More and more you have to suspend belief in Ryan Murphy’s world. Another question I have is: Was this crossover always planned or does Doctor Odyssey need some help to gain viewers? Viewers are intrigued by this upcoming episode, however, with some of our readers mentioning how they also find it strange that Athena would hop on another cruise ship so soon without experiencing any trauma. To be fair, we have not seen the episode yet, so her fears may be explored. (Disney/Tina Thorpe) ANGELA BASSETT In a recent interview with TVLine, Angela Bassett discussed why she initially turned down the crossover event stating, “I was like, that doesn’t make sense,” she says. “Athena would never get back on a boat again. I just can’t imagine what would get her back on board, other than to go on, turn around and come right back off. [That experience is] still fresh in the cells of her body. It’s very anxiety provoking for Athena to be on that boat for any amount of time.” So at least Angela gets it but when the boss calls, you have to answer the phone. This episode does leave the door open for more potential 9-1-1 guest stars to cruise. Perhaps some 9-1-1 Lone Star characters may make an appearance in future episodes. The possibilities are now endless. Not to mention a new city has been greenlight by the House of Mouse. We will soon be seeing a new crew in Nashville. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments.

  • 'Doc' Season 1 Episode 9 "What Goes Up" Review

Omg Richard I was just starting to like you and you go and do this….. The episode starts off with a flashback showing us how Amy met TJ. She saved his life on the plane. I really enjoyed this arc, and it explains why TJ has always been by Amy’s side. However, in the present day that friendship seems to have come to an end and it’s painful.   TJ’s father is in the hospital for what started off as a fall and a hurt knee, but it quickly develops into cancer. To make matters worse, this is Amy’s first official case on her own without any supervision. As per usual Amy disagrees with the initial diagnosis and wants to use a different approach that is much riskier should she be wrong. When Amy gives TJ’s father (Randy) her opinion, he chooses to take her opinion rather than lose his ability to walk. TJ is not happy with that decision and let’s Amy know just how he feels about it. It is an interesting reversal at play here. All the people that could not stand Amy before her accident have warmed up to the new “Amy” while her friends seem to be turning on her now. This is such good and interesting writing. Meanwhile, Nikki, (Jake and Sonya’s patient) needs to stay in the hospital, but she has a minor child, and the hospital must call child services per hospital guidelines. During the COVID-19 pandemic Nikki lost her custody of her temporarily due to losing her job. This patient has been through it and if child services get involved again, she could permanently lose custody of her child. Her electricity was turned off and she is using her money to pay for meals. Jake, being the greatest guy ever pays the electric bill for his patient so there is no issue with child services visits her place. Now back to Amy, you would think the tension and potential loss of her friendship with TJ was enough but nope the writers of this show love to pile it on. Remember how I said I was just starting to like Richard; well Amy figures out what happened to Dixon and the role Richard played. Instead of Richard doing the right thing (he needs to fire that unethical lawyer by the way) Richard gaslights Amy and makes her believe she was the one that caused Dixon’s death. It is on sight Richard! Overcome with the emotion of the day and believing she caused a patient’s death in the elevator she runs into Michael and breaks down, the two kiss! She cheated on Jake and Michael cheated on his wife (I do not really care about her)! The drama is out of this world and great as a viewer. Doc is really bringing it and I love the mess! What did you think of the episode? Drop a comment!
