What to Watch Thursday, August 27: Beauty in Black, Big Brother & Adults

Thursday is giving us plenty of reasons to stay planted on the couch. Netflix brings Beauty in Black back for Season 3, Adults returns for its second season, and Big Brother continues its summer run on CBS.

Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black is back on Netflix for its third season, and after everything this show has already put its characters through, expecting anybody to suddenly make calm and rational decisions feels wildly optimistic.

The drama returns with more of the power struggles, complicated relationships and increasingly messy family dynamics that have helped make the series one of Netflix’s buzziest dramas. If you’ve been following Kimmie’s journey from the beginning, this is easily Thursday’s biggest streaming return.

Thursday Is Also a Big Day for Streaming Premieres

Beauty in Black isn't the only show making a comeback. Netflix also welcomes Leanne back for Season 2, while Peacock launches the second season of political cyber-thriller The Undeclared War.
