‘Tulsa King’ Renewed for Season 5 Ahead of Season 4 Premiere

Paramount+ clearly isn’t waiting around to see how Dwight Manfredi’s next chapter plays out. Tulsa King has officially been renewed for Season 5, with the news arriving before Season 4 has even premiered.
Sylvester Stallone will once again return as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, but the fifth season is bringing the story somewhere very familiar to the character: New York. Production is moving from Atlanta to New York as the series dives further back into Dwight’s mafia roots, and filming on the new season is already underway.
That move could represent a major shift for the series. Dwight has spent the past several seasons building his operation far away from the world that shaped him, but putting him back on New York turf opens the door for old relationships, grudges and pieces of his past to come crashing back into the picture.
Season 5 is also expanding its regular cast. Scarlet Rose Stallone, who has appeared throughout the series as Spencer, has been promoted to series regular. Erik Palladino, Glenn Fleshler, Anthony Skordi and Nickola Shreli are also joining the show as regulars for the upcoming season.
Before any of that happens, Dwight still has plenty of trouble waiting for him in Tulsa. Season 4 premieres Friday, October 16 on Paramount+ and finds Dwight trying to turn his growing empire into something legitimate while keeping his crew together. That gets considerably harder as political corruption, new enemies and a devastating personal loss begin closing in around him.
The pressure also appears poised to pull Dwight closer to the instincts he developed during his New York days. Considering Season 5 is now sending him directly back there, Season 4 could end up laying some very important groundwork for what comes next.
The upcoming fourth season features Stallone alongside Martin Starr, Jay Will, Vincent Piazza, Annabella Sciorra, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Frank Grillo, Mike “Cash Flo” Walden, James Russo, Kevin Pollak and Neal McDonough, with Garrett Hedlund and Dana Delany. Gretchen Mol joins the series as a regular in Season 4.
Terence Winter serves as head writer and executive producer. Taylor Sheridan, Stallone, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Thomas Kelly and Keith Cox also executive produce. The series comes from Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios.
With Season 5 already filming before audiences have even seen Season 4, Paramount+ is making its confidence in Tulsa King pretty obvious. Dwight may be trying to legitimize his empire, but his television empire seems to be doing just fine.
Tulsa King Season 4 premieres October 16 on Paramount+.
