Tony Awards 2025: Complete List of Winners and WATCH That Hamilton Reunion

The curtain has closed on Broadway’s biggest night, as the 78th Annual Tony Awards celebrated the best theatrical talent of the 2024–2025 season. Held live on CBS and hosted by Tony winner Cynthia Erivo, the ceremony delivered memorable performances, emotional wins, and plenty of surprises.


This year, “Maybe Happy Ending”, a heartfelt musical about two retired helper robots in a futuristic Seoul, took center stage, tying for the most nominations and emerging as the night’s biggest victor.

Best Musical: 🔥 Maybe Happy Ending

The sentimental sci-fi romance captured hearts and swept major categories, including Best Book of a Musical, Best Original Score, and Best Direction of a Musical by 🔥 Michael Arden. Star 🔥 Darren Criss earned Best Leading Actor in a Musical, marking a major highlight of his stage career.



Best Revival of a Musical: 🔥 Sunset Boulevard

The classic Andrew Lloyd Webber musical made a triumphant return, headlined by 🔥 Nicole Scherzinger, who won Best Leading Actress in a Musical for her chilling portrayal of Norma Desmond. The production also won 🔥 Best Lighting Design of a Musical.

Best Play: 🔥 Purpose

A searing and timely drama, Purpose took home the top prize and also earned acting awards for 🔥 Kara Young (Featured Actress in a Play) and 🔥 Francis Jue (Featured Actor in a Play for Yellow Face, in a separate category).

A smart and socially relevant revival, Eureka Day impressed both critics and voters alike.
