Just in case you thought NBC was done having fun with Megan Thee Stallion, think again. The superstar makes her second appearance on The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, and this time, it’s even clearer she understands exactly what kind of comedic sandbox she’s playing in and she’s not holding back.
In the latest episode, “The World Is Full of Beaks,” airing Monday, March 30 at 8:30 p.m. ET, Megan reprises her role as Denise, stepping back into the show’s delightfully odd universe like she never left. And yes, the clip making the rounds, featuring Tobin attempting to flirt, is every bit as awkward and entertaining as you’d hope.
Front and center, Tracy Morgan continues to steer the show with his signature unpredictability, delivering punchlines that feel half-improvised but always land. Alongside him, Daniel Radcliffe leans all the way into the absurdity, fully committed to the show’s offbeat tone in a way that still feels refreshingly unpolished.
But this round belongs to Megan. Unlike many guest stars who dip a toe into sitcom territory and retreat, she dives in headfirst. Her Denise feels more confident, more playful, and more willing to match the show’s energy beat for beat. The chemistry clicks a little faster this time, and the joke delivery feels sharper, like she’s figured out the rhythm and decided to push it further.
The episode itself doubles down on the series’ willingness to be weird for the sake of weird and surprisingly, it works more often than not. There’s a looseness here that can either be a strength or a liability, depending on the scene. With Megan in the mix, it tilts firmly toward the former.
For a show still finding its long-term footing, bringing back a guest star who clearly fits the tone is a smart move. It builds continuity while giving viewers something familiar to latch onto, even if everything else around it is intentionally a little off-kilter.
If the goal is to keep audiences curious (and maybe slightly confused), The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins is doing its job. And with Megan Thee Stallion settling comfortably into this comedic world, don’t be surprised if NBC keeps that door wide open.
