It was a week of shocking revelations, dangerous confrontations, and emotional goodbyes on General Hospital. As Jenz Sidwell's grip on power began to slip, several Port Charles residents found themselves caught in the fallout. From Lucas becoming the target of a violent attack to Josslyn's terrifying captivity at Wyndemere, the week delivered plenty of twists that left viewers with more questions than answers.

The biggest developments centered around Wyndemere, where Josslyn remained trapped in a basement cell while desperately searching for a way out. Her situation became even more complicated when Cullum discovered she was being held there and questioned why he had been left in the dark. While Josslyn's future remained uncertain, another familiar face arrived in captivity when Dr. Liesl Obrecht was kidnapped and brought to the same location.

The mystery surrounding Liesl's abduction quickly took an unexpected turn when Cassius revealed a stunning secret. According to him, he is Liesl's other son, the twin who was believed to have died during childbirth. Instead, he claims Madeline took him and gave him to Cesar to raise. The revelation has the potential to rewrite decades of family history and could have major consequences moving forward.

Meanwhile, Sidwell's problems continued to mount. Lucas once again attempted to make him understand the damage his actions had caused, but the confrontation ended in violence when Sidwell shot him at the Marco Rios Tennis Center construction site. Fortunately for Lucas, help arrived before the situation could become even more dangerous. Dante and the PCPD arrested Sidwell for attempted murder, seemingly bringing an end to his reign of intimidation.

However, Sidwell wasn't prepared to go down quietly. After his arrest, he accused Mayor Laura Collins and Sonny Corinthos of being responsible for Professor Dalton's death. The accusations added another layer of uncertainty to an already complicated investigation and threatened to drag even more Port Charles residents into the growing scandal.

Just when it appeared justice might finally catch up to Sidwell, another twist changed everything. Cassius secretly helped him escape custody and urged him to leave the country before authorities could tighten their case against him. While Sidwell may be temporarily free, his future remains anything but secure as law enforcement continues to close in.

Away from the criminal intrigue, Portia's baby shower became the setting for one of the week's most emotional confrontations. What should have been a joyful celebration quickly spiraled into a painful public clash between Portia and Curtis. Old wounds resurfaced as Curtis lashed out at both Portia and Isaiah, creating an uncomfortable scene for everyone in attendance.

No one was more affected than Trina, who watched the conflict unfold before quietly leaving the gathering. The experience served as another reminder of the strain her family's struggles continue to place on her. Thankfully, Trina also found reasons to focus on her own future as she considered new opportunities involving both her art and music.

Elsewhere, Carly grew increasingly concerned about Josslyn's disappearance. Her search eventually brought her back to Wyndemere, where several clues suggested she may be getting closer to uncovering the truth. The most significant clue came when a ring discovered inside the house was immediately recognized as belonging to Josslyn. While Carly still doesn't know exactly what happened to her daughter, the discovery could prove to be a major breakthrough.

The week also featured several intriguing developments elsewhere around Port Charles. Nina checked in on Brennan and later visited Cassius after hearing he had been attacked. Brook Lynn and Chase continued moving forward with plans to adopt Phoebe, while Kristina prepared for a major transition in her life and sought reassurance that Michael and Molly would continue supporting one another in her absence.

Adding to the growing list of mysteries, an unidentified police officer entered the PCPD cold case storage room and removed a specific piece of evidence. The motive remains unknown, but the suspicious act suggests another secret may soon come to light. At the same time, Brook Lynn and Lucy devised a plan designed to create new problems for Willow, setting the stage for additional drama in the weeks ahead.

As the week came to a close, General Hospital left viewers with plenty to speculate about. Josslyn remains trapped, Sidwell is once again on the run, and Cassius' bombshell revelation has the potential to change multiple lives forever. With new secrets emerging and several major storylines reaching critical turning points, Port Charles is heading into another unpredictable week.
