Tate’s passing was confirmed by her family, who shared that she had been living with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a rare progressive neuromuscular disorder that affects the nerves in the arms and legs. Her death is related to this condition.

She is survived by her mother, Katerina Kazakos Tate; stepfather, Vishnu Jayamohan; father, John Daniel Tate; and sister, Daniella Tate. Her family has requested that donations be made to the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association in her memory.

Following Tate’s death, fellow cast member Hunter McVey released a statement via People expressing his sorrow. He said, "I was shocked to hear the news. I didn't know Isabelle prior to filming, but I couldn't have asked for someone better to work with on one of my first ever days on set. Prayers for her family."

Visitation and funeral services are scheduled for October 24, 2025, at Forest Hills Methodist Church in Brentwood, Tennessee. The entertainment community and fans of 9-1-1: Nashville have expressed condolences following the news of her death, recognizing her as a young talent with a promising future.
