The 2026 Astra TV Awards winners were revealed Saturday night, with the HBO Max medical drama emerging as the night's biggest success while Hacks, Shrinking and Beef also walked away with major honors. Presented by the Hollywood Creative Alliance, the sixth annual Astra TV Awards celebrated television across broadcast, cable and streaming, recognizing everything from dramas and comedies to reality television, animation, documentaries and limited series. After entering the ceremony as the year's most-nominated program with 12 nominations, The Pitt proved all that love wasn't limited to the nomination ballot. The Pitt claimed Drama Series, while Noah Wyle won Actor in a Drama Series for his performance in the HBO Max hit. Patrick Ball took Supporting Actor, Sepideh Moafi won Supporting Actress and Tal Anderson earned Guest Actress. The show also scored Streaming Drama Ensemble and a directing victory for Wyle for the episode "12:00 P.M." Sacred Heart isn't the only TV hospital having a big weekend. Oh, and because we apparently cannot watch drag queens put on makeup without thirty minutes of them arguing behind a couch immediately afterward, both iterations of Untucked are coming back, too. Take a breath, girls. That is a whole lot of hairspray headed to your screens. While some corners of the internet love to whine about franchise fatigue, the reality TV juggernaut shows no signs of slowing down. If anything, the ratings indicate that the audience is hungrier than ever for the drama. This massive renewal package comes on the heels of a wildly successful Season 18, which actually managed to pull off double-digit viewership growth and snatched the title for the highest franchise premiere audience in the show's history. Season 18 snagged a 19% spike in the coveted 18-49 demographic, proving that while linear television might be on life support, Mama Ru still holds the defibrillator paddles. From a purely analytical perspective, the numbers do the talking. The franchise recently scooped up a casual 11 Primetime Emmy nominations, because the Television Academy loves predictability almost as much as RuPaul loves an oversized blonde wig. Speaking of the host himself, RuPaul Charles secured his 11th consecutive nomination for Outstanding Host, extending a historic streak that makes other reality hosts look like they are barely trying. So, what can fans actually expect when the doors to the workroom swing open yet again? While production is keeping the official cast lists under lock and key, the traditional television calendar gives us a pretty clear roadmap. If MTV sticks to the release schedule it has religiously followed for the last six years, RuPaul's Drag Race Season 19 will likely premiere in early January 2027. All Stars 12 will presumably follow in the spring or summer on Paramount+, likely featuring a mix of recent fan-favorites and older-season icons desperate for a redemption arc. Ultimately, this double-renewal ensures that the cultural phenomenon stays firmly planted at the center of the pop culture conversation. It is a win for MTV, a win for streaming subscribers, and a win for anyone who enjoys watching adult men fight over foam rubber hips. The television landscape changes every day, but the drag universe remains an unshakeable empire.

This week on Beyond The Gates, the Kill Bill story ramped up, the stalker is revealed, and it is a surprise to no one. Dani calls the Duprees together to face the music and dodge accountability. Black Widow and The Former Mrs. Hamilton Hayley is in the limo waiting for Bill. She is excited to head to St. Bart’s to execute her plan of murdering her husband. Honestly, why do the calculated semi-villains have to become cartoonish? She receives a phone call from Caroline, who finds Bill unresponsive on the office floor. Shout out to having Darlene answer the 911 call to walk her through CPR. Hayley goes to the hospital and puts on a horrible performance about Bill demanding to know where he is. Insert heavy eyeroll. Bill is in surgery. Later we learn that Bill had to have a pacemaker installed. He went into cardiac arrest three times on the table. That is what caused him to pass out. Later, she is making demands because Dani is there and ready to kick everyone out of the hospital, including his daughters. Dani goes off, so much so she calls Bill her husband, and honestly, she looked absolutely insane while doing it. Her family looks on in horror at her meltdown. Hayley bans her from seeing Bill, but it is all moot because when Bill wakes up, he wants to see Dani. Dani goes to see him, and he apologises for the things he took her through, and Dani eats it up. She becomes conflicted. Meanwhile, Hayley is upset that Bill made it through surgery and complains to Randy in the hospital hallway while laying out their plan to Kill Bill. The Dupree Intervention Dani calls her family together at the country club to talk about her outburst. She is dismissive and tells them that they have nothing to worry about. They remind her that she has a great husband and that she and Bill have history that is all it is. Nicole reminds her that their children are grown. Dani dodges all accountability, and by the look on Vernon’s face, he is over her. They take Dani at her word, but someone needs to give her a hard dose of reality. Other Happenings Joey is suspicious of Randy when he overhears him talking to Hayley. Randy lies but it looks like Joey may do some investigating of his own, and I do not need to say how I feel about that. Deanna and her…Noah go on a date. It is just odd because he looks the same age as Randy, who was her father’s best friend. She and Kat are becoming friends, and I like the friend group forming. Joey warns Vanessa about Heather. He also threatens to kill Heather if she hurts Vanessa. He also says he is not as vile as Heather. Oh Joey, let’s ask Deanna and Doug about how vile you are. You not only slept with his wife, but you also lured him into debt and made it increasingly worse when he paid it off. If that weren’t enough, you killed him. Eva and Izaiah have the same conversation from last week, and I am bored. I feel like the writers do not know how to write for the younger people, with the exception of Jamey, and he is moving on to a head writing position at another soap. Lesigh. Andre’s Past and His Present Situation Andre continues receiving mysterious texts. He also gets a call from Chelsea, who in a moment of…I don’t know, being an airhead makes him think that Dani is in the hospital. When he arrives, Dani is with Bill. Later, Andre talks to Ted about his past and current situation. He tells him about Bill and his concerns over Dani and Bill. Ted tells him that he needs to have a talk with both Dani and Bill. He chooses to talk to Bill first. Andre takes cheap shots at Bill being laid up. He asserts that Dani is his wife, and Bill smirks. These were good scenes; I just hate that Andre did this while the man was barely out of surgery. Bill wanted to deliver the one punch that would knock the wind out of Andre, but he held back while still standing his ground. Andre later gets a text to meet at a hotel, and this is the cliffhanger; it is Heather. He looks terrified. . Final Thoughts on the Week I want to like Heather because I love Ashley Jones, but her portrayal of Heather leaves a lot to be desired. For one, she is as old if not older, than Dani and Nicole. She is being written as the wayward little sister when she should have been Joey’s ex-wife since she slithers all over him, which is creepy. I guess I just don’t buy her as the villain. I will admit, she was better the last couple of weeks, so we shall see. I feel like with the merger there is an agenda going on at the soap. Joey was a recurring character; why are we getting his sister? Kial is a recurring character. Why are we getting his son? I know Bill has a child from one of his many mistresses; it should have been a Hamiliton. We want to see people related to The Duprees, The Hamiltons, and yes, The Thomases. Leslie’s father, whom I imagine to be Dante, should arrive in FMC. He should be rich and powerful, and that should be the rival family to The Duprees. As it stands, the Duprees are supposed to be powerful, but they are written as weak. Allowing everything around them to happen to them and needing help from the local criminals. This is why I need Vernon to have a younger brother or a son he didn’t know about. One he had before Anita. I need a ruthless Dupree that isn’t neutered, but all of the recent characters added have no connections to the core families, and I just cannot care about them. The same problems keep recurring, and if it were not for these recaps, I’d stop watching. I can not watch for a week or two, come back, and not be lost. That is how slow these stories move. Kill Bill has been going on for a year. The Impaler story is slated to go on longer. It had no real resolution, just an abrupt ending to introduce Heather. It was lazy and unoriginal. I digress, I guess.

Peter Parker's sophomore year is about to get considerably more complicated. Marvel Animation unveiled a new look at Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 at D23, revealing a January 2027 return on Disney+ and teasing some major additions to Peter's increasingly crowded corner of the Marvel universe. And apparently nobody told Peter that being Spider-Man was already difficult enough because the symbiote has officially entered the chat. The new Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 footage was shown during D23's "Celebrate 65 Years of Marvel's Spider-Man!" panel, where series creator Jeff Trammell previewed what's coming next for Hudson Thames' Peter Parker following the events of Season 1. "Season one was setting the board. Season two, we get to play the game," Trammell told the D23 audience. Based on what Marvel showed, there are quite a few new players joining that game. One of the biggest reveals involves the Venom symbiote, which appears to bond with Peter during the upcoming season and gives Spider-Man a new black suit. That's a development longtime Spider-Man fans know rarely ends with Peter having a nice, relaxing afternoon. The symbiote's presence isn't completely out of nowhere. Season 1 established the alien creature as part of this universe and ended with Norman Osborn secretly keeping a piece of it for experimentation. Now Season 2 appears ready to take that setup considerably further. And where there's a symbiote, Eddie Brock usually isn't far behind. Eddie Brock will make his debut in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2, with the D23 footage showing Eddie working as a reporter for the Daily Bugle. His arrival, combined with Peter's apparent exposure to the symbiote, gives Marvel plenty of room to put its own spin on one of Spider-Man's most famous relationships. The preview also finally gives fans a look at Gwen Stacy, who will suit up as Spider-Gwen during Season 2. Gwen's upcoming appearance had previously been teased, but the D23 presentation offered a clearer indication that she will be joining the superhero side of Peter's world rather than simply appearing as another student in his life. Peter could probably use the backup because the villains aren't exactly taking the season off. Doctor Octopus returns, with footage showing Spider-Man battling Doc Ock after the villain attacks a gala and kidnaps Harry Osborn. Rhino and Lizard are also among the classic Spider-Man enemies teased for the upcoming episodes, suggesting Season 2 will dig even deeper into Spidey's comic book rogues gallery. Then there's Daredevil. Charlie Cox is returning as Matt Murdock/Daredevil after lending his voice to the character during the first season. The new footage shows Daredevil wearing his familiar red costume, giving fans another team-up between the two New York heroes. Because apparently Peter needed an alien costume, Spider-Gwen, Eddie Brock, Daredevil and half his rogues gallery showing up at the same time. High school should be fun. Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man takes place in an alternate timeline from the primary Marvel Cinematic Universe and follows a young Peter Parker during his early days as Spider-Man. One of the show's biggest departures from the MCU films is Peter's relationship with Norman Osborn, voiced by Colman Domingo, who fills the mentor role Tony Stark occupied in the live-action MCU. Season 1 premiered on Disney+ in January 2025 and established a version of Spider-Man's world that borrows heavily from the character's comic book history while being free to remix familiar relationships, heroes and villains. Season 2 appears ready to take even greater advantage of that freedom. The addition of Eddie Brock and the symbiote alone gives the series an opportunity to create its own version of the Venom story, while Spider-Gwen adds another major Spider-character to a universe that is quickly becoming much larger than Peter's original neighborhood. Marvel has already shown confidence in the animated series beyond these upcoming episodes. A third season was previously confirmed, meaning Peter's adventures won't end with whatever happens during his encounter with the symbiote. For now, fans will have to wait a few more months before finding out exactly how all these pieces fit together. Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 arrives on Disney+ in January 2027, bringing Peter Parker back alongside Spider-Gwen, Daredevil, Eddie Brock, Doctor Octopus, Rhino, Lizard and, perhaps most dangerously for Peter himself, the Venom symbiote. Peter wanted to be a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. His neighborhood apparently had other plans.

Just when J.D. thought he had enough to deal with at Sacred Heart, an old familiar face is walking back through the doors. ABC unveiled the first Scrubs Season 2 teaser at D23, giving fans a look at the comedy's upcoming return while revealing a surprise from the show's past: Scott Foley is officially back as Sean Kelly. And that's not even the biggest part of the reveal. Sean and Elliot are apparently dating again. Yes, after all these years, Sarah Chalke's Elliot Reid has somehow found her way back to the marine biologist who spent a good portion of the original series dealing with J.D.'s very normal and completely mature feelings about their relationship. Fans of the original Scrubs will also remember the running "Nobody cares, Sean" joke, which suddenly has plenty of opportunities for a comeback. Foley originally appeared throughout the original series as Elliot's on-again, off-again boyfriend, with Sean showing up during Seasons 1, 3 and 8. His return gives the ABC revival another direct connection to its original run while potentially creating some very interesting complications for Elliot and J.D. The new Scrubs Season 2 teaser also confirms several other familiar faces will be back. Zach Braff returns as J.D., Donald Faison as Turk and Chalke as Elliot, while Judy Reyes is back as Carla, John C. McGinley returns as Dr. Cox and Christa Miller once again plays Jordan. Rachel Bilson also appears in the teaser as Charlie, the character introduced during the Season 1 finale as a new romantic interest for J.D. So while Elliot apparently has Sean back in her life, J.D. has his own relationship to figure out. What could possibly go wrong? The returning cast will be joined by Keyla Monterroso Mejia, known for The Studio and Abbott Elementary, who has joined Season 2 in the recurring role of Mimi, a surgical nurse at Sacred Heart. Ava Bunn has also been promoted to series regular as Tosh following the character's first-season storyline. Vanessa Bayer, Jacob Dudman, David Gridley, Robert Maschio, Layla Mohammadi, Amanda Morrow and Michael James Scott are among the other cast members returning for the new season. The revival's first season brought viewers back into the world of Sacred Heart while balancing its original characters with a new generation of doctors and hospital employees. Season 2 appears ready to continue that approach, but Sean's return suggests the series isn't finished digging through the original show's history for characters capable of shaking things up. And bringing Sean back while Elliot is once again a major part of J.D.'s life? Oh, the writers knew exactly what they were doing. Season 1 ended with plenty left unresolved. J.D. and Dr. Cox attempted to hide the severity of Cox's autoimmune disease from Jordan, while Turk and Carla's efforts to find J.D. a potential romantic match eventually led him to Charlie. Tosh and Asher also shared their first kiss, while Blake and Amara continued growing closer. Then there was the return of the Janitor, who revealed that Maintenance Guy is his son because apparently Sacred Heart family reunions are going to remain wonderfully strange. Now the D23 teaser gives fans their first indication of where some of those stories are headed while adding another familiar character to the mix. Technically, the upcoming episodes represent the 11th season of Scrubs overall, but ABC is billing the new installment as Season 2 of the revival. Whatever numbering system you prefer, the important part is that Sacred Heart will be reopening its doors sooner rather than later. Scrubs Season 2 premieres Wednesday, September 30 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC with back-to-back episodes and streams the following day on Hulu. Scott Foley is back. Sean and Elliot are apparently giving their relationship another shot. J.D. has Charlie. Dr. Cox, Carla, Jordan and the rest of the gang are returning. And somewhere, we can already hear J.D. saying nobody cares, Sean.

Mickey Mouse may want to make a little room in the clubhouse because one of Walt Disney's earliest creations is officially getting his own show. Disney revealed new details about Oswald during the D23 Entertainment Showcase, including a first look at the upcoming Disney+ series and an official premiere date of February 17, 2027. And after being hidden away since the 1920s, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit is about to discover that the world has changed. A lot. Created, written and executive produced by Jon Favreau, Oswald is an all-new live-action and animation hybrid series based on Walt Disney's classic character Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Favreau also serves as one of the show's directors alongside Jude Weng and Andrew R. Jones. Disney unveiled a clip from the series for the D23 audience Friday night, giving fans their first taste of how the nearly century-old character will fit into a modern Disney+ series. The premise finds Oswald literally emerging from the past. According to Disney, an earthquake releases the cartoon rabbit after he has been hidden away since the 1920s. A middle-school boy and his group of friends discover Oswald and attempt to help him adjust to life in the modern world. So, yes, Oswald has some catching up to do. Wait until somebody hands that rabbit an iPhone. The upcoming series stars Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Mykal-Michelle Harris, Ryder Allen and Al Madrigal, with Kathryn Hahn and Albert Brooks also joining the cast. Favreau, Andrew R. Jones, Karen Gilchrist and John Bartnicki serve as executive producers. Favreau's involvement makes the project especially interesting considering his long history of blending live-action filmmaking with animated characters and digital environments. His Disney credits include The Jungle Book and The Lion King, while his work within the larger Disney family also includes creating the Star Wars series The Mandalorian. This time, however, he's digging into a particularly important piece of Disney history. Oswald the Lucky Rabbit predates Mickey Mouse and was originally created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks in 1927. Walt eventually lost control of the character to Universal, and the experience helped lead to the creation of Mickey Mouse. Decades later, Disney regained the rights to Oswald in 2006, bringing one of the company's earliest characters back home. Now he's getting the Disney+ spotlight. The live-action and animation hybrid format also feels particularly fitting for a character whose history stretches back to the earliest days of Disney animation. Rather than completely redesigning Oswald as a realistic animal, the concept allows the cartoon rabbit to enter a contemporary live-action world while still carrying the visual identity that made him recognizable nearly 100 years ago. Disney hasn't released the D23 clip publicly, so viewers outside the Honda Center will have to wait a little longer for their first proper look at footage from the series. Still, Friday night's presentation gives us a much clearer idea of what Favreau has planned and, most importantly, when we'll finally get to see it. For a character who spent decades largely outside the Disney family, landing his own streaming series is one heck of a homecoming. Oswald premieres February 17, 2027, exclusively on Disney+.

Grab the Keyblade because after more than two decades of games, Kingdom Hearts is finally making the jump to television. Disney announced at D23 that a Kingdom Hearts TV series is coming to Disney+ and Disney Channel, bringing the fan-favorite world created by Disney and Square Enix to the small screen with an original anime story. Yes, Kingdom Hearts is becoming an actual TV series. Somewhere, Donald Duck is already refusing to heal Sora when he needs it most. The upcoming project, currently operating under the working title Kingdom Hearts, is being developed by Disney in collaboration with Square Enix. Rather than simply retelling the story of the original 2002 video game, the animated series will feature a brand-new story set within the existing Kingdom Hearts universe. That opens up quite a few possibilities. The Kingdom Hearts franchise follows Sora, a young Keyblade wielder whose adventures bring him together with Donald Duck and Goofy as they travel across worlds inspired by Disney films while battling forces of darkness. Over the years, the games have incorporated characters and locations from Aladdin, Hercules, The Little Mermaid, Frozen, Pirates of the Caribbean, Toy Story, Big Hero 6 and plenty more. Basically, Disney had a multiverse before everybody decided they needed a multiverse. But longtime fans know there is much more to Kingdom Hearts than visiting Disney worlds. The franchise has developed an enormous mythology surrounding Keyblade wielders, Heartless, Nobodies, Organization XIII, different versions of characters, memories, hearts, darkness and enough interconnected storylines to make explaining the complete timeline at Thanksgiving dinner a very bad idea. Thankfully, the people behind the games aren't being left out of the television adaptation. Franchise creator Tetsuya Nomura is involved with the project alongside Square Enix's creative team, giving the upcoming Kingdom Hearts series a direct connection to the people responsible for building the universe in the first place. The announcement also comes as Kingdom Hearts approaches a major milestone. The original game was released for PlayStation 2 in 2002, introducing players to the unexpectedly perfect combination of Square Enix-style RPG storytelling and Disney characters. The franchise has since expanded across numerous games and platforms and has sold more than 38 million units worldwide. Yet despite the franchise's popularity, Kingdom Hearts has never received a full television adaptation. Until now. Disney's decision to tell an original story rather than directly adapting one of the games could also make the series more accessible to viewers who haven't spent the last 24 years studying Kingdom Hearts lore like they're preparing for the SATs. Newcomers could potentially enter the universe without needing to know every detail of Sora's increasingly complicated history, while longtime players can get a story they haven't already experienced. Disney is still keeping many details locked away somewhere in a treasure chest that apparently requires a Keyblade to open. A premiere date has not been announced, and there is currently no confirmed episode count or voice cast. Disney has also not announced which animation studio will produce the series. The final title remains unknown as well. For now, Disney is referring to the project as Kingdom Hearts (working title), meaning Kingdom Hearts: The Series or any other name floating around online should not be treated as official just yet. The series is expected to maintain the core identity that has defined the franchise: Disney worlds and characters colliding with the original heroes, villains and mythology created for Kingdom Hearts. Exactly which Disney properties will appear hasn't been revealed, leaving fans plenty of time to start making wish lists. And you already know those lists are going to get ambitious. The announcement arrives ahead of the franchise's 25th anniversary in 2027, making the timing especially fitting. After years of fans wondering whether Disney would ever bring Sora, Donald, Goofy and the Keyblade to television, the answer is finally yes. A Kingdom Hearts TV series is officially coming to Disney+ and Disney Channel, Square Enix is involved, Tetsuya Nomura is part of the project and the show will expand the universe with an original story rather than simply replaying the games we've already experienced. Now Disney just needs to tell us when it's coming, who's voicing everybody and which worlds we're visiting. And please, for the love of Mickey Mouse, somebody make sure Donald remembers Cure.

Grand Admiral Thrawn made it back to the known galaxy, and now everybody has a problem. Lucasfilm officially unveiled the Ahsoka Season 2 trailer at D23, offering the first major look at the next chapter of Rosario Dawson's Star Wars series while confirming a January 20, 2027 premiere on Disney+. And judging by the footage, Thrawn isn't wasting any time putting his plans into motion. The new season picks up following the Ahsoka Season 1 finale, which left Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren stranded on Peridea while Lars Mikkelsen's Grand Admiral Thrawn successfully escaped back to the main Star Wars galaxy. Ezra Bridger also made it home, but his reunion with his friends came with one pretty massive downside: Thrawn came with him. Now, the threat of another galactic war is getting very real. The Ahsoka Season 2 trailer shows Thrawn rallying the Imperial remnant as he prepares to challenge the New Republic, while Hera Syndulla, Ezra, Zeb Orrelios and everyone's favorite menace of a droid, Chopper, are among those facing the growing threat back home. Meanwhile, Ahsoka and Sabine still have the rather important task of figuring out how to escape Peridea. You know, no pressure. One of the biggest moments in the new footage comes from Hayden Christensen's return as Anakin Skywalker. Anakin challenges his former Padawan with a question that goes straight to the heart of Ahsoka's journey: Is she a Jedi or not? It's a question that has followed the character for years after she walked away from the Jedi Order, and Season 2 appears ready to make her finally confront it. Christensen joined Dawson and Eman Esfandi, who plays Ezra, at D23 alongside series creator Dave Filoni. The stage itself leaned heavily into another major piece of the upcoming season, with mist and imagery inspired by the mysterious Mortis gods surrounding the presentation. If you've been following Ahsoka's story since The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, you already know that anything involving Mortis tends to get very interesting very quickly. Then there's Baylan Skoll. Following the death of Ray Stevenson in 2023, Game of Thrones star Rory McCann has taken over the role, allowing Filoni to continue the character's unfinished story. The D23 footage provides the first look at McCann as Baylan, including scenes of the former Jedi surrounded by snow as his mysterious journey on Peridea continues. Season 1 ended with Baylan standing near statues of the Mortis gods, making his search for the power hidden on the planet one of Season 2's biggest unanswered questions. The new trailer also reunites fans with Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger and Lars Mikkelsen as Thrawn. Ahsoka and Sabine remain trapped beyond the known galaxy, while their friends are left to deal with the consequences of Thrawn's return. Dawson teased just how much larger things are getting during the D23 presentation, telling fans that the new season is "massive" and promising higher stakes and bigger battles as Thrawn's presence threatens Ahsoka and the entire galaxy. That larger scope is important because Season 1 spent much of its story trying to prevent exactly what has now happened. Ahsoka wanted to stop Thrawn from returning. She failed. Ezra is home, but the price of that victory could be another war, and Thrawn now has Imperial forces and his Nightsister allies positioned to make life extremely uncomfortable for the still-fragile New Republic. Meanwhile, Peridea is looking increasingly important rather than simply serving as the place where Ahsoka and Sabine got stranded. Between Baylan's search, the Mortis imagery and Anakin's continued presence in Ahsoka's story, there are clearly much bigger Force-related mysteries waiting to be explored. So yes, Thrawn may be preparing for war, but somehow that might not even be Ahsoka's only problem. The Ahsoka Season 2 trailer sets up two major battles for the next chapter: the New Republic's fight against Thrawn and Ahsoka's continuing journey to understand who she is and where she belongs. With Anakin back, Baylan's story continuing and the Mortis gods looming over Peridea, Filoni has plenty of unfinished business waiting for fans. Vision is officially back, and somehow Ultron has returned right along with him. Marvel Studios unveiled the new VisionQuest trailer at D23, giving fans their biggest look yet at Paul Bettany's long-awaited return to the MCU and finally answering at least one question we've had since WandaVision: Where the heck did White Vision go? Marvel Television's VisionQuest premieres October 14, 2026, on Disney+ and serves as the third and final installment of the trilogy that began with WandaVision and continued with Agatha All Along. The new series picks up Vision's story following the events of WandaVision, with Bettany once again playing the synthezoid Avenger. When we last saw White Vision, Wanda's recreated Vision restored his memories before he abruptly flew away from Westview. Six years later, VisionQuest is finally ready to deal with what came next. The VisionQuest trailer finds Vision attempting to understand who he is now that he possesses the memories of his former self. He remembers being an Avenger and remembers the life Vision once shared with Wanda Maximoff, but having those memories doesn't necessarily mean he feels connected to the person who experienced them. Basically, Vision is having the MCU's most technologically advanced identity crisis. Things get even more complicated with the return of James Spader as Ultron, marking the actor's first MCU appearance since Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015. And Marvel isn't simply bringing back Ultron's familiar robotic voice. Spader appears in human form as part of the unusual way VisionQuest explores Vision's consciousness. The trailer reveals Vision's mind as a mansion where artificial intelligence programs can appear as people, opening the door for several familiar pieces of MCU technology to return. James D'Arcy reprises his role as J.A.R.V.I.S., while Orla Brady appears as F.R.I.D.A.Y. Emily Hampshire plays E.D.I.T.H., Henry Lewis portrays D.U.M-E and Jonathan Sayer appears as U. But Ultron's presence carries considerably more baggage than the others. Vision and Ultron have been connected since Avengers: Age of Ultron, when the villain originally intended Vision's synthetic body to become his own. Instead, the Avengers took control of the body and, with the help of J.A.R.V.I.S. and the Mind Stone, Vision was born. More than a decade later, Marvel is bringing the two characters together again, and something tells us their reunion isn't going to involve a nice father-son dinner. The trailer also introduces another major piece of the WandaVision story: Tommy Maximoff. Ruaridh Mollica plays Thomas Shepherd, aka Tommy, one of Wanda and Vision's twin sons. Tommy and Billy disappeared when Wanda released Westview from her spell at the end of WandaVision, but Agatha All Along eventually brought Billy Maximoff back into the MCU through Joe Locke's character. Now it's Tommy's turn. His appearance in VisionQuest continues the larger Maximoff family story and connects the series directly to the events of both previous shows. The trailer establishes that Tommy and Vision will cross paths, although Marvel is keeping the circumstances surrounding their connection under wraps. And yes, we know what everyone is thinking: What about Wanda? Elizabeth Olsen has not been officially announced as part of the VisionQuest cast, and the D23 trailer doesn't confirm the Scarlet Witch's return. Still, with Vision searching through memories of his previous life and both Maximoff sons now back in play, Wanda's presence is naturally going to hang over the story whether she physically appears or not. Marvel also used D23 to put some serious attention behind the upcoming series. Bettany and Spader appeared during the presentation as the studio unveiled the new footage and gave fans a closer look at the strange world Vision will be navigating. VisionQuest has been years in the making, but the new trailer finally provides a clearer picture of where Marvel is taking the character after WandaVision. Vision is searching for answers about his identity, Ultron has returned after more than a decade, Tommy Maximoff is entering the story and several familiar MCU artificial intelligences are getting an unexpected human makeover. Vision disappeared for six years and apparently came back with everybody. Marvel Television's VisionQuest premieres October 14, 2026, on Disney+.

Percy Jackson has completed two quests, battled more monsters than any teenager should reasonably have to deal with, and repeatedly helped save the day. Apparently, Disney+ decided that means it is time to make his life significantly worse. The new Percy Jackson Season 3 trailer debuted at D23, giving fans their biggest look yet at The Titan’s Curse adaptation, and whew, the days of relatively innocent demigod adventures appear to be behind us. Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 premieres November 20, 2026, on Disney+, with the new season adapting the third novel in Rick Riordan’s bestselling series. The book has never previously received a screen adaptation, meaning the series is officially entering unexplored territory after The Lightning Thief and The Sea of Monsters. And judging by this trailer? Disney+ knows exactly how big of a deal that is. The nearly two-minute preview wastes little time establishing the season's central problem: Annabeth Chase is missing. After surviving two quests alongside her, Percy knows exactly how much he depends on Annabeth, and when she is captured by the forces of Kronos, there is basically no universe where Percy is going to sit patiently at Camp Half-Blood and wait for somebody else to handle it. Instead, Percy heads into another dangerous quest alongside Grover and some unexpected companions. The mission involves rescuing Annabeth, freeing a captured goddess and dealing with a prophecy that could have devastating consequences for Olympus. You know, typical teenage stuff. What immediately works about the Percy Jackson Season 3 trailer is its tone. Walker Scobell previously teased that Season 3 would be darker, and the new footage backs him up. There is still enough of the personality and humor that makes Percy Jackson feel like Percy Jackson, but the sense of danger has noticeably increased. That's exactly what The Titan's Curse needs. The third book marks a major shift in Riordan's original series, when the larger battle surrounding Kronos becomes harder for Percy and his friends to ignore. The trailer appears willing to embrace that transition instead of softening it. Percy isn't simply fighting whatever monster happens to show up this week anymore. Everything feels connected to something much bigger. There are plenty of reasons for book fans to start pointing at their screens too. Season 3 introduces the Hunters of Artemis, with Dafne Keen joining the series as Artemis and Saara Chaudry playing Zoë Nightshade. The trailer also brings Nico and Bianca di Angelo into the story, played by Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie, respectively. Tamara Smart's Thalia Grace also has a much larger role as the story moves forward. Seeing these characters together makes Season 3 suddenly feel very real. Nico in particular is one of the most important characters to emerge from the original Percy Jackson books, so his arrival opens an entirely new chapter for the Disney+ series. Then there are the monsters. The new footage offers a look at the Manticore confrontation and several larger action sequences, while the scale of the mythology appears noticeably bigger than what we've seen before. Disney+ seems increasingly comfortable allowing this world to actually look weird, dangerous and mythological instead of keeping its creatures tucked away until absolutely necessary. Thank the gods. The trailer also gives us a stronger sense of how heavily the Great Prophecy will hang over Percy this season. The prophecy concerning a child of the Big Three has been lingering over the story, but The Titan's Curse is where that threat begins feeling much more personal. Percy is getting older, Kronos is getting stronger, and every new powerful demigod potentially changes the equation. Meanwhile, the cast continues to grow. Holt McCallany joins Season 3 as Atlas, while Ming-Na Wen will portray Hera and Andra Day will play Athena. Wen and Day even joined Scobell onstage during the D23 presentation after an army of Artemis' Hunters helped introduce the Percy Jackson portion of the showcase. Casual. More importantly, the trailer makes Season 3 look like the point where Percy Jackson and the Olympians could really hit another level. The first two seasons had the difficult job of establishing Camp Half-Blood, its characters, the gods and the rules of this enormous mythology. Now that all of that groundwork exists, The Titan's Curse can start testing these characters emotionally instead of simply introducing their world. And Percy trying to save Annabeth is one heck of a way to start. There is also something genuinely exciting about finally seeing The Titan's Curse adapted for the screen. There is no previous movie version waiting around for comparisons this time. For longtime readers who have spent years imagining the Hunters, Zoë, Bianca, Nico and the events of the third novel, Season 3 gets to provide the first live-action interpretation of that story. Based solely on this first substantial look, the series seems ready for the challenge. The visuals look bigger, the monsters look better, and most importantly, the trailer understands that the emotional stakes have changed. Percy may still be our sarcastic son of Poseidon, but the world around him is becoming considerably less forgiving. The Percy Jackson Season 3 trailer doesn't reveal every card Disney+ is holding, nor should it. It gives us Annabeth in danger, the Hunters of Artemis, new demigods, bigger monsters, an increasingly worried Percy and enough ominous prophecy talk to make November feel very far away.
